2013 Welcome to the 13th edition of Frylands News! This is a special edition that focuses on our prices for 2013 to 2014 season, event & courses dates plus announcement of an exciting new partnership with Lauren & her team at Wild Wood Activities See below for more details but here are the highlights:

• On the 1st April, every year, we usually raise our prices slightly. We have decided this year to keep prices the same with the exception of our camping fee which we’ve actually reduced from £4.50 to £4.00 per person per night

• Don’t forget to advertise our Heroes Funday to your 6-10 year olds, 9th June 2013

• Our Leaders Weekend should

be in your diary on the 14th to 15th September 2013

• Scarefest, in October, is an event aimed at Scouts, Explorers, Guides, Rangers and Leaders too

We have a fantastic, new partnership with Wild Wood Activities. Using Frylands Wood as a base, they offer Forest Explorer projects (based on the Forest School ethos), Forest School and outdoor play training, workshops, woodland adventure days, twilights and overnights for groups, birthday parties and bespoke sessions as well as holiday activities. Community Sports Leader Award Archery Training Course

14th/15th & 21st/22nd September 2013 Cost £185.00 including workbook, assessment and refreshments

The course will run at Frylands Wood over 2 full weekends. Approximate start time is 09.00 and finish time 18.00 on all days.

The certificate is valid for 3 years. Renewal is based on work record and is currently around

£30. You have to be 17 years old by the final assessment day for GNAS course.
