Page 1 Attendance You may have noticed over the past week that messages have been sent home via SMS for student absences. This will now become our schools normal practice as we utilise the Sentral system installed at the end of 2019. This will also include partial absences (ie. late arrival/early leave). Thank you to those people who have responded to the SMS sent. It assists us greatly when confirming reasons for leave in the class roll. If parents and carers could confirm their contact details with the school ASAP, particularly if you have changed your mobile number in the past 12 months, that would be wonderful as its a legal requirement that we must have class rolls completed accurately. Uniforms As the weather gets cooler and the need to keep warm becomes a daily necessity, it is important that students bring a jumper or jacket to school each day. The jumper/jacket should be in school colours (ie. red or black) and be suitable for school. Hoodies should not be worn and jumpers/jackets that are not KSPS colours are not appropriate. These items can purchased at local clothes shops such as Big W and Best & Less or you can get the items with the school logo embroidered on them at the uniform shop in town. Please make sure your childs jumper/jacket has their name written inside so it can be returned to them should they leave it on the playground. Hats and caps that are not school uniform should not be worn to school. We have two headwear options available at school. The red bucket hat is free for students or a school cap can be purchased for $12 at the front office. Please assist us in keeping all students in uniform each and every day as it helps instill a sense of school pride and teamin all who wear it. Thank you!
