Attendance
Current school attendance stands at 93.2%. This is well below our target of 95%. The school recognises the high levels of sickness that have been witnessed locally and across the county this year, however, we really need a big effort to boost our attendance rates over the next few weeks and months. For example, a child who misses school just twice per month will lose out on 18 days' education across the school year – that's nearly four weeks! I am sure you will agree that this time is of massive educational importance to our pupils and every effort must be made to attend school.
