Our February workshop, BUTTOCK IMPLANTS

MASTERCLASS, was a great success with the joint efforts

of Tracy Sayag, the president of Campus Champs Elysees

and director of the Clinique des Champs Elysees, and Aude

Sordet, the France country manager of GC Aesthetics. The

learning experience included the faculty and attendees

having a great amount of interactions, which was the vision

of the Campus administration, Dr. Michael Atlan, and the

team of Masters in their preparation of this event. The

and complimentary experiences to fellow surgeons that

already have a bit of training in buttock implant surgery.

Clinical Anatomy for Composite Buttock Augmentation This workshop was designed to provide its participants

with a comprehensive demonstration of the clinical

anatomy for buttock augmentation as well as surgical

techniques shown live. Dr. Stefanelli reiterated the

importance of

knowing all the

anatomical

positions to

pay attention

to, saying,

“This is the

keystone for

safety”. He explained this through a dissection video

presented with marks well indicated on a cadaver. He

explained both enhancing your buttocks with fat

grafting between the skin and muscle implant put inside

the muscle making the following points:

• No fat in the muscle due to the risk of fat embolism and death

• No implants on top of the muscle due to the risk of malposition, dehiscence, etc.

an educational aspect of the new techniques

of buttock implants, but also a real time

demonstration using live surgery.

The Clinique des Champs Elysees is an

environment where these procedures

regularly take place and it was a pleasure that

we could provide you with this hand-on

training in our well-equipped clinic.

Introducing CurveoTM : A New Buttock Implant By GC Aesthetics

Meeting the needs of both surgeons and patients

is key in making and distributing a high-quality

product used in the different procedures done in

the aesthetic medicine community. These silicone

implants, made under the brand Nagor and

Dr. Baraf explained the XYZ intramuscular technique

that he follows while performing his buttock implant

surgeries. He talks about how the surgery does not

need to be complicated, it just needs to be precise being

the implants are identical on each side. He talked about

the risks of contamination if the patient does not

receive a dressing over the anal area before the surgery,

and what are the efforts to make so the recovery for the

patient can be more comfortable.

Buttock Implant Procedure

Using the right techniques, the intramuscular plane

can re-create your shape almost without problem.

1. Mark the XYZ points on both buttock cheeks

2. Make your intergluteal incision

3. Place finger into the incision to measure 3 cm

down.

4. Use your undermining tool to create a

triangular detached area

5. Adjust the enlargement of the detached area to

fit the chosen implant

6. Place the implant in the intramuscular area

you have created and adjust to make sure there

is exact symmetry.

7. Close with nylon sutures after drainage is

completed
