Our Learning Themes

The children will be engaging in lots of Christmassy activities this month. Making cards, singing songs, hearing the story of the first Christmas and other arts and craft activities.

Christmas Movie Night

Unfortunately we will no longer be running our Christmas Movie Night.

We will however arrange an alternative event in the new year

for the children to enjoy!

Christmas Family Fun and Christmas Jumper Day!

NextFriday14thisourFamilyFunDay!Therewillbelotsofactivitiesonofferforyouandyourchildtotakepartinandhavealovelymorningor

afternoon!JoJingleswillbeheredoingChristmasmusicsessions,therewillbetheopportunityforyoutomakeChristmastreekeepsakesandtherewillbeother‘Christmassy’activitiestotakepartin,aswellasaveryspecialvisitor!WearealsodelightedthatBallyclarePrimarySchoolchoirwillbesingingduringtheourfundaytoo!Thiswillalsobeour‘ChristmasJumper’Daytoraisemoneyfortheschool.Pleasewearyourfestivejumpers

andpay£1onthedoorforeveryjumperworn!StaffwillallbeinvolvedinrunningtheactivitiesthereforechildrenMUSTbeaccompaniedbyanadultinordertoattendplease.Thiscanbeanyoneyouchoosewhoisaresponsibleadultovertheageof16.Youwillstay

withyourchildthroughoutthesessiontocompletetheactivitiestogether.AMsession9:15-11:15-PMsession12:30-2:30pm.

Pleasedonotarrivebeforethestarttimeofyoursessionaswewillbebusygettingeverythingready!Thiswillbealovelydayforeveryone!

Christmas Party! Christmas parties will be held on

Thursday 20th Dec 12:00-1:30pm for afternoon children and Friday 21st Dec 8:45-10:15 am for morning

children. This will be the day your child finishes for Christmas break.

‘Friends of Ballyclare Nursery School’ PTA Fundraising

and School Fund

Our PTA work really hard to raise money for our school. As you may have seen in the news recently, funding for all schools has been on the decline in recent years. The money the PTA raises for us goes towards the many visitors and activities we provide for your children every year. They also support us in the buying of larger

resources for the Nursery. The school fund is used not only to purchase snack, but to also to provide the many different daily activities,

resources and learning opportunities for all children. Without your support in this current funding crisis we would find it very challenging to continue to provide this high level of provision for the children in our care. We very

much value your support!
