Repeat business & Loyalty programs

Imagine a business called A Store.

If A Store only does business with each new customer once, most likely it will go broke. It has GOT to get repeat

business. A Store will make money with repeat customers. New customers pay for the costs to get them in the store.

What can you do to get repeat business?

Why not use a Loyalty Program?

Loyalty programs can be internal or external; POSperfect can help you.

If you are not yet using this feature of POSperfect, call us now!!

Below is an article from Inside Retailing Online on March 14, 2011, that exemplifies the above:

Loyalty program pays off

VIP customers at ladies clothing retailer Rodney Clark spend, on average, $100 more per visit than non-VIP

customers, according to data from the retailer's Endless Rewards loyalty program.

Marina de Luca, GM of Rodney Clarke, said the Endless Rewards loyalty program fit with Rodney Clark’s philosophy

of 'the customer is the sole focus', by giving customers’ dollars back for every purchase they make.

“After two years of putting most of our marketing dollars behind this program it has become part of our culture and is

an important driver of our customer loyalty moving forward," said de Luca.

“Store employees and customers love the program. Our employees feel they are giving the customer something of

real value when they sign them up.”

The Endless Rewards loyalty program has 45,000 members, who spend around 40 per cent more than those who

don’t have a card.

“The past two years have been tough for retailers and the loyalty program has been a key driver for ongoing, repeat

visits from the Rodney Clark customer base.”

Neil Joseph, Endless Rewards CEO, said the rewards Rodney Clark VIP customers’ accrue were meaningful.

“Depending on whether they are a gold or platinum member, they receive five per cent or 10 per cent cash accrued on

their account for every purchase," said Joseph.

"This acts as an incentive to build up further cash rewards so they can treat themselves to a free purchase or offset

their cash rewards against their next purchase.

“Most companies use discounts to entice customers. While this may work well for end of season clearouts, it does

nothing to motivate customers to return, nor does it do anything to engender ongoing brand loyalty.”

Endless Rewards provides loyalty programs to a host of retailers, including KFC, Oshkosh, Footpoint and Hooters

Accounting System Options

MYOB and QuickBooks. POSperfect interfaces with MYOB and QuickBooks. This provides users a powerful POS

and Inventory Management system in POSperfect, along with a popular and easy Accounting System in either MYOB

or QuickBooks.

POSperfect Creditors and General Ledger. We also have our own Accounting modules which offer the advantages

of a single (interface free) system, but have the disadvantage of a lack of recognition in the market.

With all three of the options above we can well satisfy most demands for a complete POS and Back Office Accounting

System.
