On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they

did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!”

In observance of Easter, The Woodlands Christian Academy will be closed Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1.

Hallelujah! Jesus Is Alive!

Science In Action!

Students in Mr. Robert Roach’s fourth grade science classes were tasked with creating containers for eggs to protect them in a fall from a great height. The students were very inventive in their containers using trash bags as parachutes, helicopter blades and even a roll of Charmin bathroom tissue! Of the 14 drops that were made, one egg cracked and one egg was broken. The activity provided students with the opportunity to learn about potential and kinetic energy, as well as the transfer of energy into different forms.

Fourth and fifth grade students enjoyed three wonderful days at Pine Cove Christian Camp in Tyler, Texas on March 25-27. While at Pine Cove students learned about God’s creation and had great outdoor fun with their classmates!
