Americans get pneumonia. Of that, 50,000 people die from the

disease. A research study suggests that if you are to get a routine

cleaning twice a year your risk of getting pneumonia is drastically

less. Keeping your teeth clean also keeps your lungs clean. Make

sure you are getting in for cleanings twice a year!

Our annual Patient Appreciation Thanksgiving Pie Giveaway event had a great turnout this year. Our pies were wonderfully made by the Menahga Bake shop in Menahga, MN. Our patients came and picked up their pies, (apple, blueberry, or pumpkin), on Wednesday, November 23rd between 3-5 PM.

Reuter Family Dentistry also took on a new sta� member. Kaylee started November 1st as our new Director of Outreach. Kaylee is responsible for communicating with sta�, current patients, and new patients.

She works with our multiple social media platforms to keep everyone updated on what is happening with special promotions or events. Kaylee has been having a great time getting associated with the sta�, the patients, and the city of Wadena, and the surrounding areas.

We also hosted our delicious hot chocolate treat bar. The hot chocolate was provided by Cyber Café in Wadena, MN. This is the second year it has been a hit. Some people say it is the best hot chocolate they’ve ever tasted! We also had names put into a drawing for a Crest Oral-B toothbrush for those who stopped by and picked up a pie. We are excited to announce the winner of this drawing in late December. We are so thrilled that this event has been growing and has become a Thanksgiving tradition for our patients, and our sta�. We cannot wait for next years Thanksgiving Pie Giveaway event.

Within the Big Splash Waterpark at Arrowwood there are three 4-story-tall water slides. The fun continues for adults and kids with the Lazy River, a relaxing and fun inner tube �oat around the waterpark. These are just a couple of the many fun features Big Splash Waterpark has to keep you entertained with your friends and family.

Arrowwood Lodge and Conference Center and Big Splash Waterpark have been voted the best family resort and waterpark of 2016 by Readers’ Choice Awards,and by SUN Media.

How it work will work: Tell your friends and family about our dentistry. When they become a new patient, have them list you as the person who shared our information with them. Each of you will receive one entry into the drawing. Share this post on our facebook page and you'll receive an additional entry! Drawing is on Wednesday,March 1st, 2017!

Reuter Family Dentistry’s Share the Care Program is a great opportunity for all patients! We value our patients’ overall experiences

and the best compliment you can give us is by referring Reuter Family Dentistry to your friends and family! When you do that we have occasional promotional drawings to win things like the Weekend Getaway.

We also have a constant Share the Care promotion. When you refer 1 new patient to us we will give you a $20 gift card. When you refer 2 new patients to us we will give you a $40 gift card. When you refer 3 new patients you will receive a $60 gift card. It is our way of saying Thank You. To stay updated on our Share the Care promotions and events please see our website and our facebook page. If you have any questions about how Share the Care works feel free to ask any one of our friendly sta� members.

We reached a massive milestone this month! We reached 500 likes on our Facebook page. The sta� at Reuter Family Dentistry were thrilled and decided to celebrate by donating $500 to a local charitable organization. We titled it ‘$500 for 500 Likes’. We made it open to the public to nominate recipients of the donation on Facebook. The Wadena County Humane Society and Henning HOPE quickly became the top two nominees for the competition.

We then had the Facebook audience vote between the two �nal nominees. The Wadena County Humane Society rose to the top with 259 votes/likes, and Henning HOPE had 185 votes/likes. All the engagement and reactions to this Facebook promotion made it a great turnout. We are so thankful, and happy with all the voices that reached out with the nominees and that interacted with the $500 for 500 likes. Because it was such a great turnout we decided to donate $185 to Henning HOPE as well. Take a look at our Facebook page to see the series of videos for the $500 for 500 Likes. What could be next for when we reach 1,000 likes? Help us get there to �nd out!
