ABOUT DEPARTMENT IN THIS ISSUE
Information technology has ushered in a new epoch of
prosperity, quality and modernity in the life of mankind. It always
has to keep abreast of the realities of demand and supply of its
professionals as well as the expedient global market embedded on
creative and innovative technology. The IT department in this
institution has grown into gigantic stature and eminence by way of
producing IT professionals of efficiency and excellence who fit
into the existing global market as balls in holes. Molding these
rough stones into ornamental diamonds is the primary motive of
the excellent and meritorious IT faculty with its sound and strong
infrastructure such as its laboratories and advanced systems. The
unique lab in this institution is a rare phenomenon in the realm of
education. The secrets behind the academic excellence of this
faculty correspond to their programmes and schedules. Each
student is motivated to focus on a novel area to bring out his/her
potential under the supervision of teachers. The interest and
involvement in their specialized areas find expression through
seminars, symposium and the papers read and presented. Their
interaction with eminent scholars on these occasions furthers
their members of excellence and their thirst for knowledge does
the commendable job. The Department is headed by
Dr.M.SUBRAMANIAM.
