Candlewood  Now  Offering  Meeting  Room  Catering  

The   Candlewood   Suites   is   thrilled   to   announce   our   new  catering   menu   for   our   meeting   room!   While   we   always  have  and  continue  to  offer  coffee,  water,  and  cookies,  this  new  menu  offers  a  more  extensive  selection  of  items.  We  now   serve   everything   from  healthy   snacks   like   fruit   trays  all  the  way  to  fully  catered  chicken  fried  steak  lunches.  All  of  these  new  options  are  particularly  helpful  to  our  guests  having   meetings   that   last   the   entire   day.     Save   yourself  some  time  and  contact  our  Director  of  Sales,  Drew  Butler,  to  book  your  meeting  and  select  your  catering  option.

Come  see,  Mon  ami!    Mardi  Gras  was  the  theme  for  the  Business  After  Hours  held  on  February  9,  2016  hosted  by  La  Quinta  Inn  &  Suites  in  Ardmore.    Business  locals  enjoyed  a  buffet  of  New  Orleans’  favorites,  spirits,  and  live  music.    The  La  Quinta  staff  led  tours  throughout  the  newly  remodeled  hotel  and  door  prizes  were  given  to  several  lucky  winners!    Apollo  appreciates  the  hard  work  by  all  who  made  this  event  a  huge  success.    Laissez  les  bon  temps  rouler!    Ça  c’est  bon,  Mon  cher!

10-­‐Years  Celebrated  by  Executive  Administrator  

Celebrating  Years  of  Service  Throughout  the  Company  

Teresa  Cavallo,  our  Corporate  Executive  Administrator,  celebrated  her  10-­‐year  anniversary  with  Apollo   this  February.    Cavallo  began  her   first   position   with   the   company   as   a   Front   Desk   Service  Representative   and  was   later   promoted   to   the  General  Manager  position,  which  she   filled   for   5  years.   She  was   then  promoted   to  The   Corporate   Executive   Administrator   position   in   2014.     She  assists   the   Ownership   and   Management   Team   in   their   daily  operations   and   is   responsible   for   Human   Resources   and   Payroll.    Ms.   Cavallo   is   a   hard   working   employee   and   an   asset   to   the  company.     Apollo   is  very  proud   to   have   her   as   part  of   the   team.    Congratulations  on  your  10-­‐year  anniversary  with  Apollo.    We  look  forward  to  celebrating  many  more  with  you!  

         On  Tuesday,  March  8,   the   Candlewood   Suites  hosted   a   luncheon   for   insurance   agents,   local   emergency  personnel,   and   others   involved   in  emergency  relief.  Red  Dirt  Brewhouse  provided  a  delicious  meal  followed  by  a  brief  PowerPoint  presentation  by  Director  of  Sales,  Drew  Butler,  on  the   Candlewood   Cares   Program.     This   program   gives   one   free   night   to   residents  whose   homes  have  been   destroyed   or   damaged   by  natural  disaster.  After  the  first  night,  the  hotel  works  with  the  insurance  companies  setting  up  billing  for  guests  to  stay  as  long  as  needed  in  order  to  get  their  homes  repaired.    “I’m  thrilled  to  get  this  information  out  to  those  who  will  need  it  the  most,”  says  Butler.  “It’s  a  great  program  and  many  simply  do  not  know  about  it.”                After   the   presentation,   attendees   were   given   a   brief   tour   of   the   property   including   various   room   types.   “When   they   took   the   tour,   their  understanding  of  what  makes   the  Candlewood  Suites   ideal   for   the  displaced  became  more   clear.  The   attendees  were   impressed  with  the   full  sized   refrigerators   along   with   fully   stocked   kitchens   and   could   see   how   Candlewood   Suites   can   truly   become   a   second   home   while   their  customers  wait  on  their  homes  to  be  repaired.”
