OCTOBER 2011 - NEWSLETTER
JIHIHJJHHHH
KEEPING SAFE A few recent incidents have highlighted the need to
remind our school community about ‘end of day’
procedures. Although your child/ren may know what is
happening, it is vital that we do too.
1) If your child is signed up to take part in an after
school club, please could you ensure that you inform
the office or relevant member of staff if they are not
attending.
2) If your child is going home with another family,
please inform either the class teacher or the office.
3) If you are taking another parent’s child home,
please let a member of staff know before leaving at
the end of the day – there are always staff on the
lower playground at this time.
4) Bus children – Please could parents ensure that
they are ready to meet their children off the bus when
returning home as it is not the driver’s responsibility
to make sure that they cross roads safely once getting
off the bus.
Thank you for your support with these matters.

PLEASE SHUT THE GATE
We know that mornings and after school can get rather
‘hectic’, however, please could you ensure that the
entrance gate onto the lower playground is closed
behind you.
Also, please take care in the car park – another staff
member has had their car ‘scraped’ recently, which
wasn’t directly reported. If you are ‘blocked in’,
please come and speak to us.
