the last lap Casey has completed his teaching assignments for

this year while Davina will teach Greek 2 till mid-

November. Our plan is to focus on our dissertations

from August onwards and to finish our first drafts

by the end of the year.

In May, we attended a forum for Christian educators

and a doctoral colloquium in Bangkok. We were

delighted that our dissertation supervisor, Dr. Graham

Cheesman, was the invited guest at these meetings.

We were able to discuss with him how we could finish

this last lap.

We had a wonderful

reunion in Jeju, Korea,

with some good ole

friends. Our friendship

began in the mid-80s

when we were students

at APTS in Baguio. This

was our fourth reunion.

From our basic theological

training to our masters, we had

always graduated together in the

same cohort. We hope that we can

graduate together again next year.

We covet your prayers as we

retreat into our “writing holes” to

run this last lap and to finish the

dissertation race successfully.
