Muurame• There are 9000 inhabitants in Muurame• In Muurame there are 3 small comprehensive

schools and one big school (700 pupils)

• Niittyaho school has been involved in a Comenius project once before. Our partners at the time were from Italy, Greece, Poland and Bulgaria

• Our school has worked together with Jyväskylä University Teacher Education Department for more than ten years organizing camp schools in the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Groups from Kiruna (Sweden) and Norway have also taken part in the camp schools that are run by student teachers as part of their studies. The pupils from Kiruna have visited Muurame the following year.
