Rules that every Ex-Serviceman who has put in not less than six monthscontinuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union shall be allowed to deduct the period of suchservice from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age-limitprescribed for the post or service for which he seeks appointment by more than three years, he shallbe deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age-limit.     course on elementary fire fighting from a recognized Institute. The duration of the Basic Fighting course will not be less than Six months. The institute offering Basic Course on Fire Fighshould be recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India (iii) Must be physically fit and capabperforming strenuous duties. This require- ment will be tested as under:- (a) Height without S165 cms. (b) Chest (unexpanded) 81.5 cms (Expanded) 85 cms. (c) Weight 50 Kgs minimumCarrying a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs. to a distance of 183 mtrs. Within 96 seconds. Enduratest: (b) Clearing 2.7 mtrs. Disabled Ex-Service(DISXSM): Ex-Servicemen who while serving in Armed Forces of the Union were disabled in operagainst the enemy or in disturbed areas shall be treated as DISXS. Dependents of Servicemen kin Action (DXS) : Servicemen killed in the following operations would be deemed to have been kin action attributable to Military Service (i) war, (ii) war like operations or border skirmishes ewith Pakistan on cease fire line or any other country, (iii)Fighting against armed hostilities counter insurgency environment viz. DEFINITIONS UNDER PUnder Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights andParticipation) Act 1995 only such persons would be eligible for reservation who suffer from not than 40% of relevant disability and are certified by a Medical Board appointed by the Central/SGovt. Deaf & Hearing Impaired (HI) The deathose persons in whom the sense of hearing is non- functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e. loss of hearing in both ears. They do not hear, understand sounds at all even with amplified speHearing impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational raof frequencies. Orthopaedically Challenged (OC) Locomotor Disability means disability of bojoints or muscles leading to substant ial restric tion of the movement of the limbs or any forcerebral palsy. Cerebral Palsy means a group of non-progressive conditions of person characterby abnormal motor control posture resulting from brain insult or injuries occurring in the pre-nperi-natal or infant period of development. All the cases of Orthopaedically Challenged Perwould be covered under the category of Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy. 3. RESERVATIO

    POSTS: (a) Reservation to different categories will be provided as per Government guidelinesThe number of vacancies as also the number of reserved vacancies is provisional and may according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
