Within our Nikon Instruments Europe Headquarters, a vacancy has arisen in our Dutch Sales Team for a pro-active and entrepreneurial Key Account Manager to join the team. The aim of the Sales Team is to pro-actively and effectively seek new clients, build and maintain relationships with key customers, promote the Nikon brand and product offerings and ensure that sales targets are continuously met or exceeded. Specifically, in this role, the successful candidate has to manage assigned sales territory and seek, develop, close and maintain opportunities with the identified client base in the Netherlands microscopes business. You will have demonstrated: 4 – 5 year of Sales experience in the scientific business in the Netherlands (microscopes business will be ideal) Demonstrates a track record in achieving high quality, commercially focussed business results Proven sales ability in exceeding individual sales goals or demonstrates high sales capability potential Requirements: Master or Bachelor in bioscience or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills (fluency in Dutch and English required) Solid negotiation and influencing skills, able to present an opinion and support it Actively seeks opportunity to improve and cross-leverage networks and resources to optimise innovative solutions and achieve results Proactive approach to high quality client service delivery, through empathising, anticipating client needs and exceeding client expectations We are seeking a commercially-minded team player who has a passion for sales, is result driven and hunger for success and ready to take ownership in seeking new clients in the Dutch microscopes market.
