EMILY CARR, THE LITTLE PINE

The Little Pine by Emily Carr was completed in 1931. The painting was done with oil colors on a canvas. Some

elements are smudging. There is also the blending of colors. I like this piece of art

because it has depth to it and it is a calm piece. The

colors used are calm colors.

RED HOUSEThe Pine Tree And The Red

House by Lawren Harris was finished in 1924. It was done with

oil colors on a canvas. There is lots of blending on the house.

Around the house like the snow is just plain color. I like the piece

are bright.

LAWREN HARRIS, CLOUDS LAKE

SUPERIORClouds Lake Superior by Lawren Harris was finished in 1923. The picture was done with oil colors

on a canvas. Some elements blending. There is also different

painting techniques. There is also depth to the painting. I don’t like

this picture because to me it doesn’t look like clouds by Lake Superior. He used cool colors.
