Our mission is to improve the lives of adult survivors of brain injury on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Our program is supported by state general funds administered by the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, as well as generous private donations. Here at No Limits we help survivors of brain injury to be as independent, as physically integrated, and as socially included as possible in the community while encouraging them to engage in meaningful productive activity. We don’t believe in “busy work”, we’d rather be “busy working”! We follow a “use it or lose it!” approach to skill recovery and skill maintenance for brain injury survivors. We do this by maintaining an ongoing schedule of activities, organized into 5 unique categories, that are designed to develop and strengthen the skill areas that are commonly impacted by a brain injury. 30 Order Out Day

No Limits is a day program for adult

survivors of brain injury. We opened in

3/01 but since 9/12 we have been

operated by No Limits Eastern Shore,

a locally based nonprofit organization.

At No Limits we adhere to the core

values of independence, integration,

inclusion and productivity...or as

founding participant Maggie Byrd

described it:

We are deeply saddened to announce the

passing of our Board Member Jean Kranich

of Onancock, VA. Her kind heart and keen

mind will be greatly missed. Rest in peace,

Jean, and thank you for your service.
