Hello friends and shareholders and colleagues,
I am Rebecca Hassler, CEO and cofounder of
no place like home, a dynamic, fashion-forward
women’s teleportation footwear company.
In 2003, I paired with one of my dearest
friends, Andrew Blenheim, who is a talented engineer.
Together, Andrew and I began no place like home, designing and engineering the shoes ourselves. We
built our company from the ground up and were
eventually able to market our unique creations.
Still a relatively new company, no place like home has
established itself while proving its innovation and
dedication to style.
2012 was a great year for the company, as we
saw unprecedented growth. Please refer to our facts &
figures for financial statistics. We also saw the launch
of a new business partnership, changed locations, and
began selling our shoes at other fine retailers.
Wherever your travels take you, remember, there’s
no place like home.

This year, no place like home saw the
release of our most popular and best-
selling style to date! The Betsy™,
pictured left, is a stylish, practical model
that has won the hearts of millions.
Betsy™ comes in a variety of color and
styles and is our most efficient shoe
it terms of transportation. Best of all,
Betsy™ will take you where you need to
be in an average of three minutes.
In addition to the Betsy™, this year, no
place like home introduced Karina™,
Lucielle™, Cadence™, Autumn™,
Charlotte™, and Amelie™.
These new styles were met with great
success, and joined the other styles in
no place like home’s permanent collection.
In addition, this year no place like home paired with Sandra Choi to design a
limited edition collection.
2012 was an exciting year for
no place like home. Due to internal
growth as well as the finances to
make such a move possible, we left
Philadelphia and moved to our new
home in fabulous, bustling New
York City! We will still maintain our
Philadelphia location as a primary
retail venue.

To close out a fantastic year, no place like home decided it was time to
expand. In addition to the no place like home megastore now located in New York
City and the original retail location in Philadelphia, no place like home operates retail
locations in Boston, Providence, and Washington D.C.
This year, no place like home and the East Coast are no longer mutually
exclusive. To meet growing demands, we expanded to locations across the United
Sates and now operate stores in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle!
