El Día del Padre es una celebración de lo que hace que nuestra vida juntos sea lo que Dios ha llamado a ser.El profeta Jeremías está llamado a hablar en nombre de Dios, sus palabras los hará desafiar a buscar algo más que ganancias o ventajas person-ales. Esto significa que Jeremías, tratando de ver con los ojos de Dios, los llama a ser conscientes del tipo de actitudes y acciones que les ayudarán a estar más unidos y preocuparse el uno por el otro.Una de las cosas más importantes sobre los padres es que pueden tener un papel importante en la observación de lo que puede servir a las necesidades de sus familias, lo que puede ayudar a los miembros de la familia a apreciarse mutuamente, ayudarse mutuamente en sus necesidades y sus luchas.El profeta Jeremías se sacrifica para ayudar a otros a encontrar a Dios: la jus-ticia, el amor y la preocupación de Dios por los necesitados. Entre estos pasos se encuentran las confesiones que se ofrecen los sábados de 3p.m.-5p.m. La iglesia también comenzará ahora abrirse para oración personal ante el Santísimo Sacramento. Esto será de lunes a viernes de 2p.m.- 5p.m. (con la excepción de este Jueves y Viernes) También un vez más comenzaremos a celebrar bautizos, bodas y misas de Funeral en la iglesia.Quiero agradecerles a todos por su comprensión y buena voluntad en nuestros primeros pasos para celebrar misas públicas. Por favor continúe trabajando con nosotros mientras continuamos con la apertura que ahora ha comenzado. Message from Fr. Thomas Rush, OMI PastorDear Santa Rosa Parishioners,Our celebration today is a celebration of the things about our parish community and our families. Father’s Day is a celebration of what makes our life together be what God has called it to be. The prophet Jeremiah is called to speak in God’s name words that will challenge them to seek something more than just personal gain or advantage. This means that Jeremiah trying to see with God’s eyes calls them to be aware of what kinds of attitudes and actions will help them to be more united and more concerned about each other.One of the most important things about fathers is that they can have an important role in observing what can serve the needs of their families, what can help the family members appreciate each other, help each other in their needs and their struggles. The prophet Jeremiah sacrifices himself to help others find God – God’s justice, love and concern for those in need. Like Je-sus himself Jeremiah’s life was more than just getting most for himself and the people who were close to him.As we celebrate our fathers today we can thank God for the ways they have wanted to give us vision, courage and wisdom in living with each other and making our world more and more like God wants it to be. May God bless all our fathers and support them in their times of need.We also can note that there are some additional steps we are taking in our reopening process. Among these steps are confessions that are being of-fered on Saturdays from 3-5 p.m. The church also will now be opened for personal prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. This will be from Monday-Friday from 2-5p.m. (with the exception of this Thursday & Friday). We will also begin to celebrate baptisms, weddings and funeral Masses in the church once again.I want to thank you all for your understanding and good will in our first steps of celebrate public Masses. Please continue to work with us as we continue the opening that has now begun. And if you feel that you are able to assist with some of the extra tasks that we have to deal with to make this possible, please let me know.Thank you once again and may God bless you.

Hearts to Serve: Archdiocese of Los Angeles is helping those in need dur-ing Covid-19 Pandemic, especially the elderly, homebound, and pregnant women.
