The group fundraise every single week for Cancer Research UK, running raffles and other small fundraisers at their dances, all of which are supported by their attendees. “Rowlands Pharmacy have supported Cancer Research UK since 2002. However, between 2009 and 2013, their fundraising support declined dramatically. At this point Courtney Irving began managing the company’s charity partnerships. There was instantly a dramatic shift in engagement, driven by Courtney’s enthusiasm and dedication. Courtney is an incredible ambassador for Cancer Research UK and recognises the best way to motivate and engage staff to not only spread health messaging but to also raise as much money as possible to beat cancer sooner.
