Purpose
The purpose of this report is to address excess design workload requirements until March 2006.
Background
The Housing and Technical Services (Capital Programme and Repairs sub- committee) approved partnering arrangements with consultants at the meeting held on 13 February 2003.
At that time it was intended that these arrangements would remain in place until March 2006 however, as a result of prudential funding etc, it has proved necessary to re- tender this work to take account of the increased workload.
Report
All eligible firms from the earlier exercise were again invited to take part, and their returned percentage rates inserted within a matrix of provisional values for Housing and Non-Housing workloads.
The notional tender values thereby established were futher analysed using the CIPFA Tender Evaluation Model (Appendix 1).
Recommendation
By application of the above, it is recommended that the Council award its excess design workload until March 2006 to the following partners on the basis of those percentage rates listed within the Housing and Non-Housing Fee Bids (Appendix 2).
