we wish you a
joyous and blessed Easter.

From the Pastor
Peace be with you.
It is very easy to be pessimistic this Easter, but we are invited today to “roll away the stone.” See, our Lord is truly Risen. Jesus has conquered the darkness of death and Risen from the dead. Alleluia!
Despite our difficult times that make this seem like one long Holy Saturday where Jesus lies in the tomb and the tabernacles are empty, there is so much to celebrate in the Risen Jesus.
In our parish hymnal you will find a song “Roll Away the Stone,” by Tom Conry. The lyrics are:
They have been saying all our plans are empty. They have been saying “Where is their God now?” They have been saying no one will remember. They have been saying power rules the world. They have been saying no one hears the singing. They have been saying all our strength is gone. They have been saying “All of us are dying.” They have been saying “All of us are dead.” Roll away the stone, see the glory of God. Roll away the stone.
There are those who point to the darkness, but I urge you to look to the light of Christ. It is Easter. Jesus is Risen. That is what matters most. Roll away the stone.
All our staff here at Saint Theresa Parish wish you and your families a Happy Easter.
Jesus is Risen from the dead, Alleluia!
Bishop Mark

Mass Intentions
RESPECT LIFE PRAYER
ROMANS 8: 28
We know that God makes all things work together for the good of those
who love God and are called according to his decree.
In this time of the Coronavirus, we are asking parishioners to pray from home the Rosary for the sanctity of Human Life, from conception to natural death. Our Blessed Mother Mary has said that the one true weapon against all evil, especially abortion, is the Rosary.
Thank you for your prayers
Please pray for the repose of the souls of
Robert Russo
all our deceased relatives, friends and
parishioners
Join us for Easter Mass, live-streamed on our parish Facebook page.
Easter Vigil ~ Sat., April 11, 7:30 pm
Easter Sunday, Sat., April 12, 10 am
YOU DO NOT NEED A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT to view the live Mass. Visit our website for step-by-step instructions on how to view the Mass.
Praying For You, Pray for Each Other
Please let us know how you are
doing. We do have some
parishioners that have the COVID-
19 virus and we are praying for
them and their families.
We also have parishioners working
in the healthcare field and other
risky essential services, and we are
praying for their wellbeing.
We are adding a special prayer section to our website,
listing the names of those who are ill and those whose
jobs put them at risk. Please let us know if your family is
affected by the virus and we will pray for them. Send
the names to [email protected]. We will
publish the names on the special prayer page on the
website, and our wonderful parishioners will keep them
in mind. Note, this is for specific names of those in
immediate danger and not anonymous requests.
Also, please check the page for names of people to pray
for, and add them to your intentions.

We had hoped to celebrate Easter in the
church, but we realized a few weeks ago
this would not be possible. Because we
could not decorate the church this year
with Easter flowers, we stopped
accepting Easter Flower envelopes. We
had so many families who turned in
donations early, we felt it was important
to acknowledge their intentions. We
apologize if you had intended to make a
memorial donation this year and were
unable to, due to the changes we had to
make during this unprecedented time.
Please know, you and your loved ones
are always in our prayers! Thank you for
your understanding.
