We had a fun end to another fabulous week of school! On Friday night, Bobcats from Shallow Brook and Spring Forge joined together for a night of food, fun, and family all mixed with bowling and laser tag! Loved the laughs, loved the joy, and loved spending time with our Bobcats! Thanks to our amazing teacher volunteers for planning and hosting and thank you to all our families who were able to come for the fun!

Shallow Brook 5th graders recently completed a successful day of work at Junior Achievement's BizTown. Stu-

dents worked hard to earn a paycheck while satisfying their customers & earning profits to pay down their busi-

ness loans to the bank. Students served as carpenters, scientists, bankers, television & radio crew, restaurateurs,

realtors, graphic designers, and more. There was even a town Mayor and District Attorney! Most importantly, the

students learned valuable "real-world" lessons about finances, business, teamwork in the workplace, and citizen-

ship. A special thanks goes to the PTO for financing this amazing experience, and to the parent volunteers who

helped to oversee each business.
