Freelancer / Wedge Star™Are you ready for an adventure? Then the Freelancer/Wedge Star™

class is for you. By making the three different block types in the pattern, you will gain experience with our classic, starter blocks. Everyone will learn how to cut both diamonds and wedges, build them into slightly oversized units, and trim them to create high precision shapes and blocks. The class will also address how to change octagonal blocks into squares, how to match odd angled seams, how to press for success, and much more. Truly a great machine piecing workshop.

But wait… there’s more!

During class you’ll see a number of other blocks and quilts designed with the same Wedge Star™ tool. Some will be easily identified, and some will be absolutely amazing.

And remember, this tool, like all the Studio 180 Design tools and techniques, include multiple sizes (22 total), right and left hand illustrated instructions, free video tutorials, and a construction process that will increase everyone’s success rate while decreasing their stress levels!

The class project will make a wall quilt approximately 32” square.

Pre-cutting is required for this class. Please come prepared.
