the search box "ConservationPlanner" and then click Search orhit enter.

11. Look for the Conservation Planner Programlevel you are planning to complete and(single) click on it.

Notes

The Due date will default for the last date of the current FY, and the Priority will default at None. If you plan to complete the program within the current FY, do not change the Due date and set the Priority for High.If you are scheduling to complete the program/conservation planner-level training over a two-year period, change the Due date to the end of the next FY and change the Priority to Medium. If you are scheduling to complete the program/conservation planner-level training within a three year period, you should set the Due date for the last day of the fiscal year three years in the future, and the Priority would be coded as Low. If you will be completing more than one program/conservation planner-level training, please add all programs/conservation planner-level training you plan to complete.

12. You should then see it under "Items to add"on the right. Click Save at the bottom of thewindow. The window will close and you willbe taken back to the PROGRAMS tab in yourIDP/Development Plan.

You will now see the program listed. You will also see settings to the right of the program.

2. 3.

Please note the Training Section is using the Due date and Priority to anticipate when you will need the courses in the planner programs based on your planned completion date. The Priority is not tied in any way to your ability to gain approval or resources to complete the training, so setting a Priority of "Low" will not prohibit or limit you from completing courses in that program at any time during the three-year period. Please contact your chain of command with questions related to resources for attending training.

Your program settings will save automatically, so you do not need to click save on this screen after changing the Priority and Due date.

If you would like to remove a program, click the red X under Actions to the right of the program. Partners, at this point your Development Plan is complete. Employees, please continue to the next step to create a goal and submit your IDP for supervisor approval.

Notes Employees Only: Creating a Conservation Planner GoalPrograms cannot be linked to goals in Next Gen AgLearn. Only courses can be linked to goals. Because partners will be adding primarily planner programs, partner plans do not have goals included in their plans. Employees have the option to add a separate Conservation Planner goal or include the Conservation Planning Program(s) in an existing goal.

View

1. If you and your supervisor decide to list your Conservation Planner Programs in a standalone goal,

click on the GOALS tab at the top of your plan. Then click Add new goal.

2. The Goal Title should be: Apprentice (or appropriate level) Conservation Planner Program. We recommend adding comments in the description. Please set the Due date and Priority to match what you set for the program in step 14 on page 2. Please set the appropriate Status (You will update the overall goal status over time as you make progress towards meeting the goal.) and click Add goal.

Step Activity

Updating the Status of an Activity or Goal **The status of internal/AgLearn courses will be automatically updated on your record of learning as you complete the training/course. All courses for Conservation Planner Certification and continuing education towards recertification are tracked through internal/AgLearn courses and programs, so the status will be updated automatically in the course, on your record of learning, and in the program as you make progress through the courses. However (for employees only), employees or supervisors must manually update the overall goal status in the IDP when you have made progress towards meeting that goal. If an employee updates a goal status for a goal on their IDP, they will not be required to resubmit for supervisor approval.

3. If you and your supervisor plan to add it to an existing goal, you will add verbiage under the Goal description to indicate you are completing the planner training as part of that goal. If your IDP is already in approved status, you'll need to click Edit details, then update the description, and then click Update goal. You will need to resubmit for supervisor approval.
