All students are required to do one industrial project during their VIII sem. of B. Tech. (IT and MI) as a part of their course curriculum, of duration 20 – 24 weeks during the period from 1 st Jan 2018 to 30 th June 2018. 2. Students are required to submit the offer letter from their employers by on or before 29 th January 2018 to Dr Mahima Kaushik or Dr Harendra Pal Singh. 3. No change in the project/ employer will be allowed in between the duration of the above- mentioned period (6 months) of project. 4. Placements for industrial project through Cluster Innovation Center will not be allowed to change after the initial acceptance from the students, as these placements are accepted only after initial deliberations and understandings with the students only. 5. Following would be the tentative evaluation schedule of this project: (a). First presentation of the work done 7 th & 8 th March, 2018 (b). Second presentation of the work done 26 th & 27 th April, 2018 (c). Third Presentation of the work done 4 th and 5 th July, 2018 6. Marks distribution during evaluation of project will be as follows: Total Marks: 640 (Internal)+ 160 (External) = 800 (a). First presentation: 120 Marks by internal examiners of a 3-member board (b). Second presentation: 120 Marks by internal examiners of a 3-member board (c). Third presentation*: 400 Marks (Internal examiners)+ 160 Marks (External mentor) *In the third presentation, all students are required to submit a dissertation in the format provided by CIC, followed by a power-point presentation and Viva in front of a board of experts.
