Lake Country Learning Forum: Thanks to all of the students, staff, parents and community
members who attended the Lake Country Learning Forum at George Elliot Secondary School. Also,
a huge thanks to those who made this event possible. Mme Dewolf, Mme Cassan, Mrs. Cramer,
Mr. Maltais and Ms. Knox were supporting the following students, who were displaying some of the
amazing things going on at Peter Greer: Abigail Towers, Dustyn Atherton, Alex Goodal, Starlah
MacDonald, Tegan Albright, Lauren Munro, Marvin Messerschmidt, Nicolas Butterman, Lucas
Spak, Ava Cudmore, Kaylie Gross, Demitria Caron, Jayden Davis and Kian Nguyen. Thanks to
everyone for their contributions and efforts!
Chicken Pox: Due to a number of potential cases of chicken pox being reported to PGE, letters were sent home with students this week. Tinker Club: If you have any spare screw drivers, pliers, or wire cutters to donate, please bring them to PGE so that we can use them for our Tinker Club. In addition, we are collecting any old broken electronics for this club. Please, NO kitchen gadgets (i.e. toasters, coffee makers or the like) or Shaw/Telus boxes. Tinker Club should be starting up toward the end of November. Thanks for your donations. Hot Lunch: The deadline for session three is November 21st at 3:00pm. These lessons are funded by PAC and will include 6 weeks of musical instruction for each class. Half of our classes will receive their 6 weeks of music lessons prior to the Christmas break. The other half of classes will begin their 6 weeks in the New Year. We are excited to be funding this initiative and look forward to seeing Heather in the school. Next PAC Meeting: Our next PAC Meeting will be on Tuesday November 20th at 6:30pm in the Library. Everyone is welcome and childminding is available in Mme Cassan's room. Hope to see you there.
