The Saint Boniface Youth Group is helping one of their own

help someone else.

Saint Vincent’s Seniors Amanda Ganser and Kate Taylor are fundraising for a

diabetic service dog for Blessed Sacrament Student Andrew Tramell. Andrew, a

fourth grade BSS student was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in May 2014.

Amanda and Kate have a fundraising goal of $15,000 to purchase a service dog

for Andrew before they graduate!

Here’s how you can help– We Need Your Shoes– old, new, men's, women's,

children's, sandals, boots, and all shapes and sizes. Please drop them off at

church anytime, Our goal is to collect 1000 pairs of shoes by November 31.

You can also donate money to the Bark for Andrew fund at any Wells Fargo

Bank or drop off donations in the church office. Thank you!

November 15, 2015

33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

“And then they will see the Son of Man coming in the

clouds with great power and glory.” (Mark 13:26)

We will all have that day when we are standing before

God and our life is played out like a movie. When this

happens and God asks each of us, “What have you done

with the gifts that I have given you?” How will you re-

spond?

Months of planning go into a wedding, the birth of a

baby, a career change, a speaking engagement, the pur-

chase of a home. On preparing for Christ’s return, do

you place the same importance on preparing for Christ’s

return, the most important event in your life? Its results

will last for all eternity. You dare not postpone your

preparations because you do not know when his return

will occur. The way to prepare is to study God’s word,

develop a relationship with him by having an intentional

prayer time with Him daily, and live by his moral in-

structions. Only in this way will you be ready!

CATHOLIC FOCUS

As Catholic Christians we are called by our Lord to con-

tinue our understanding and knowledge of our Catholic

faith, the Sacred Scriptures, and our need to share our

faith with others. These areas are covered in our Catholic

Focus class every Sunday morning at 9:45 AM in the

Catholic Focus room in the Faith Formation building.

We receive our lessons for the week (on a monthly basis)

via email--to download and prepare for the lesson on the

following Sunday. The lessons are based on the Mass

Scriptures for that particular week. We have a catechist

that leads the class as we ponder and discuss how the

Scriptures encourage us to actually "LIVE AND APPLY

THEIR UNDERSTANDING TO THE MANNER IN

WHICH WE LIVE OUR LIVES". Adults of all ages are

welcome. We look forward to meeting and greeting you

as we grow in our knowledge of God's Calling in our

lives-to become the Disciples and Stewards we are

"called" to be. Please stop by and see for yourselves.

WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME ANY NEW PARISHIONERS AND ENCOURAGE

YOU TO REGISTER WITH THE PARISH. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE LOCATED IN THE CHURCH

ON THE STAND IN FRONT OF THE CONFESSIONAL. OR YOU MAY STOP BY THE

PARISH OFFICE AND REGISTER MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

RCIA

This week’s RCIA topic will be “Catholic Practices and

Devotions”. Want to learn more, come and join us. Eve-

ryone is welcome!
