I want to take this opportunity to thank all who participated in the two sessions of the 2012 BBA Annual Meeting. The attendance was amazing with 147 officially registered for the business session at FBC, Caddo and more than that taking part in the worship time that evening at Fairview, Durant. The presence and activity of the Holy Spirit was evident both times.

Tremendous thanks to Dee Dee Pena, Andy Hanson, and a host of others too numerous to list who worked so tirelessly to see to it that these times were well orchestrated. A special thanks to Brother Monty Wood and Dr. Greg Frizzell for bringing the word to us from the Lord. Both messages were outstanding.

Finally, a hearty welcome to the folks at Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church as their request to be admitted to the BBA was overwhelmingly approved.

I am very excited to see how God moves among all of us, using us as He accomplishes the work of His Kingdom in days to come!

Streetman Road Baptist Church will host Dr. Greg Frizzell November 3rd and 4th. The Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma's specialist of Spiritual Awakening, Dr. Greg Frizzell, will be presenting a seminar at Streetman Road (one mile south of Hwy. 70), at 7 p.m., Sat., Nov. 3rd and 3 sessions on Sun., Nov. 4th, at 9:30, 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. All residents of Bryan County and other nearby areas are invited to join us for this important and timely seminar. Our entire United States is in desperate need of a Spiritual Awakening. Please plan to attend one or all sessions. Don't miss this opportunity to hear Dr. Frizzell. HENDRIX THANKSGIVING PRAISE SERVICE Hendrix Baptist Church will be hosting a Thanksgiving Praise Service on Saturday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. There will be singing, poems, testimonies, and sharing of scripture to Praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy. Light refreshments will be served. Come join us and participate in this event.

Women’s Ministries is on the move! A brunch is planned for all Bryan Association Churches’ Women’s Ministry Leaders and/or those that would like to get something going at their church. The brunch will be at my home, 2829 Chuckwa Dr, Durant at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday November 3rd. Please contact me to let me know you are coming. We will be discussing the Women’s Day of Prayer as well as many other upcoming events and how we want to learn to work together to grow God’s Kingdom. AD DeVore our Lake Chaplain is still having a lot of health problems. I spoke to him this week and he would really appreciate your prayers. Workers who have been on long, difficult jobs know that the typical procedure when the job is over is to just throw everything in the truck and go home. The Disaster Relief feeding unit team is not different. The long and arduous trip to and from New Orleans last month resulted in a trailer with equipment crammed in from top to bottom. Time has been spent cleaning, repairing, and organizing the trailer for its next outing. Clark Harp, Blue Cap

BCM has been wrestling through the book of Hebrews in our main service and small groups this semester. It has been an adventure and something beyond what we expected. We now have over 35 small groups meeting all over campus and we have seen students leading students to Christ in these contexts. In addition, as we trucked through the difficult text of Hebrews 6 last week in our service, we saw a handful of students get saved! Which reminds us that if you will preach hard Scriptures and serve the Gospel up hot and fresh then people will get saved. Be encouraged! Colby Corsaut 580-564-7082

Thank you to all that have donated material for re-covering our chairs! They are looking so much better! We still need more material so if you can help with this it would be very much appreciated. The Medical Clinic is doing better and better each week. The doctor saw 33 patients in October. Some were able to get back on desperately needed medications like blood pressure meds, diabetes meds, cholesterol meds, etc. If you can’t afford to go to the doctor to get your prescriptions renewed you can’t get them filled! A big thank you goes out to Dr. Monica Woodall and Dr. Ashlee Northcutt for their devotion in their expertise as well as all the support volunteers. No one could be helped without everyone!
