Advent Tree Event: We will hold “A Baby Shower to Honor Baby Jesus.” It will take place from November 25 to December 10, 2017. This collection will be given to St. Mary’s Hospi-tal’s “Mother to Mother” program.

The Oplatki will be distributed on Decem-ber 9, 2017 during the Masses.

St. Mary’s Assumption Rosary Society will hold it’s annual Advent Celebration on De-cember 9, 2017. It will take place at Que Pas-ta in Saddle Brook, from 12pm—4pm. The cost is $35. Please contact Elizabeth Gallardo.

Tendremos un “Baby Shower para honrar al Niño Jesús.” Tendrá lugar del 25 de no-viembre al 10 de diciembre de 2017. Esta colección se entregará al programa de “Madre a Madre” del hospital de Santa María.

El Oplatki se distribuirá el 9 de diciembre, durante las Misas.

La Sociedad del Rosario de la Asunción de María realizará su celebración anual de Adviento el 9 de diciembre de 2017. Se lle-vará a cabo en Que Pasta en Saddle Brook, de 12 p.m. a 4 p.m. El costo es de $35. Por favor, póngase en contacto con Elizabeth Gallardo.

Catholic Relief Services Tu lo Hiciste Por Mi

Bangladesh está atravesan-do una de las peores crisis humanitarias de su historia debido a la afluencia sin

precedentes de refugiados de Myanmar. En 3 meses, más de 600,000 refugiados han llegado, escapando de la violencia horrible.

Las necesidades de los refugiados Rohingya, la mitad de los cuales son niños, son terribles. Llegan a Bangla-desh hambrientos, exhaustos y sin ningún recurso. Los barcos cruzan el río Naf con familias, niños, ancia-nos y personas que han gastado fondos importantes para pagar el cruce. Muchos se han enfrentado a la tortura y han perdido a sus seres queridos, incluyendo los niños, en la violencia. Las necesidades humanas, emocionales y físicas, son inmensas.

Por favor apoye la respuesta de CRS para acercarse a estos refugiados mientras oramos, aprendemos, ac-tuamos y damos a los necesitados.

Advent Giving Tree Collection

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Mary’s Church,

“Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.” Luke 1:31.

Greetings to all! Soon we will be celebrating the Ad-vent season. During this season a charity is chosen to give one the op-portunity to help with much needed resources.

The “Mother to Mother” program from St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic was chosen to receive help during this giving season. We will hold a “Baby Shower to Honor Baby Jesus.”

The Advent Tree will be displayed starting November 26, 2017. The tree will have tags written in both English and Spanish, with items that are needed to help mothers to be.

The wish list includes the following: The items are for GIRLS AND BOYS.

Socks, 0-12 months Blankets and receiving blankets

Sleepwear, 0-12 months Clothes, 0-12 months

Desitin ointment for diaper rash.

You are invited to take a tag or tags and purchase the item or items. All items must be brand new. No wrapping paper is necessary. All items must be re-turned by December 10, 2017. If tags run out please use the bulletin where all the items are listed. Thank you so much for supporting this event and bringing joy to a mother to be.

ST. NICHOLAS R.C. CHURCH CHRISTMAS GALA

Pastor Jorge Rodriguez and Parochial Vicar Jose Miguel Jimenez cordially invite you to celebrate our patron, Saint Nicholas at the an-nual Saint Nicholas Christmas Gala.

Colecta del Árbol de Adviento

Queridos parroquianos y amigos de la Iglesia de la Asunción de María,

“He aquí, concebirás en tu seno y darás a luz un hijo, y le pondrás por nombre Jesús.” Lucas 1:31.

¡Saludos a todos! Pronto estaremos celebrando la temporada de Ad-viento. Durante esta temporada, se elige una organización benéfica pa-ra brindarle la oportunidad de ayudar con los recursos que tanto se ne-cesitan.

El programa “Madre a Madre” del Hospital St. Mary’s en Passaic fue elegido para recibir ayuda durante esta temporada de donaciones. Tendremos un “Baby Shower para Honrar al Niño Jesús.”

El árbol de Adviento se mostrará a partir del 26 de noviembre de 2017. El árbol tendrá etiquetas escritas en inglés y español, con elementos que se necesitan para ayudar a las madres nuevas.

IGLESIA SAN NICOLÁS GALA NAVIDEÑA
