Goal History Reports in ASISTS
Goal History Reports in ASISTS
OVAE has agreed that we may choose to
Random Sample our state data
ASISTS will generate Semi-Annual Reports with the names of students to be surveyed
Those reports will begin in January 2013
Don’t wait! Survey those students as soon as you get the list!
Beginning in FY13/14
Employment Outcomes
The first report will contain the names of the students your program is responsible for surveying
For Employment, these are students who exited your program in Quarter 2 of FY13

Managerial Strategies for Improving
Program Evaluation Reports
Follow NRS Guidelines
Work smarter, not harder
Maximize program performance reporting
Where to look for Gain?
Prime candidates for a 2nd post test?
Strategize Post Testing
Focus on the students that are close to their
next level gain!
When students achieve the HSE (pass the GED®)
If they have at least one NRS Level #6 (either Math or Reading)
NYS Policy says you can archive the lower score
Student is then counted in ASE High – NRS Level #6 where no Educational Gain or Post Test Rate calculated
Students Achieving the HSE
Where else to look for Gain?
Post should be Pre!!
Your Report Card Score Should be a calculated
event, not a happy accident!
