The Nuclear Cardiology Today Meeting has reached its Vth edition.

This International Meeting attracts attendees from Europe and beyond and its

goal is not only to update about the "state of the art", but also to present new

applications of Nuclear Cardiology in order to move the field forward.

New potential applications will be discussed like "Molecular Nuclear Cardiology",

"Receptors imaging", "Assessment of gene therapy", "Neo angiogenesis" etc.

The Meeting is directed towards Cardiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians,

Internal Medicine Physicians and Physicists. The Faculty will include many

of the major experts of the field. The Meeting will be held in Cesena (Emilia-

Romagna, Italy). We anticipate that this Meeting will continue to be of interest

to the International Community and encourage your attendance.

The abstracts with title, author(s), address(es), text, must be printed on one A4format page, double spaced. Underline the name of the author presenting theposters. Print the title in capital letters.

Official languages

English and Italian, with simultaneous translation.

Slides

Only CD and computer presentation will be suitable.CD must be handed to the Slide Center at least 30 minutes before the start ofthe Session.

By plane: Rimini Airport (30 km from Cesena) or Forlì Airport (18 km),then by train or Taxi to Cesena.

By car: Highway A14, exit Cesena (not Cesena Nord) thenfollow the signal "Centro" to reach the parking(on Viale Carducci) close to the venue of the meeting(follow the directions)

RegistrationRegister for the meeting by completing and returning the registration form(enclosed) together with payment, to the Organizing Secretariat.Attendance will be limited to 350 participants and early registration is thereforeadvisable.

Registration fee

The registration fee is fixed in Euro 300.

It includes:

- Admittance to the scientific sessions

- Coffee breaks

- Lunches

- Welcome cocktail party and gala dinner at the castle

- Bus transportation to the meeting from the hotels located in Cesenatico and

Milano Marittima and viceversa.

Attendance Certificates

Attendance certificates will be issued to all participants who will make request

to the Organizing Secretariat.

Proceedings of the Meeting

The Proceedings of the meeting, including the accepted abstracts, will be

published in "THE QUARTERLY JOURNAL OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE"

quoted in: Excerpta Medica, Index Medicus etc.

Hotel accommodation

Hotel reservations should be made by sending the enclosed “Hotel

Accommodation Form” to the Organizing Secretariat not later than May 15,

2004.

Cancellations

In case of cancellations before May 15, 2004 (notification must be received

in writing to the Organizing Secretariat) the fees will be refunded (minus an

administrative fee of 30%) after the meeting. No refunds will be made for

cancellations made after May 25, 2005.
