Kodsan water heaters are designed with modern technologies, environmentally friendly insulation and with customizable featu-res in order to satisfy the different requirements of the custo-mers. At Kodsan we demonstrate our commitment to hygiene and product longevity by specializing in the enameling process. The enamel we use in our products is according to European standards. It is composed by boron, silica with titanium additi-ve and it is heavy metal free (RoHS compliant).

All of Kodsan’s water heaters come with a magnesium anode rod to provide cathodic protection ensuring a longer product lifecycle.

QUALITY CONTROL

In order to provide superior quality to our partners, Kodsan completed the most significant certification processes for the globally accepted norms and regulations and developed a quality department with experienced personnel.As an example of the main references we have:

Regarding production quality control, at the main stations 100% of the pieces are verified and controlled and at the sub-stations we use a sample method that randomly selects elements for analysis. All the collected samples are analysed at Kodsan’s laboratory on a daily basis. Below a list of the performed tests:

Performance of water heaters is tested at our laboratory which is equipped with state of the art instruments. The main tests conducted at the Kodsan laboratory are:

METAL SHEET QUALITY

We use a low carbon steel hot rolled metal sheet, resistant to aging, appropriate for welding and compatible with enameling and rolling (cold bending). For hot-dip galvanized accumulation tanks we use S355J2 metal sheet.

KEY QUALITY FEATURES OFKODSAN WATER HEATERS

Low carbon hot rolled metal sheet compatible with ename-ling and rolling, Enamel thickness is between 200μm-250μm, The composition of enamel is boron and silica based with titanium additive and it is heavy metal free (RoHS compliant) Serpentines are made with SRM pipe and tested at 16 bar, From 100 litres to 500 litres, we use 50 mm polyurethane (HCFC-free) with density ranging between 42-44 kg/m3 and metal/leather cover. From 800 litres to 5000 litres we use 80mm soft polyurethane insulation (foam) with leather cover. Metal cover is electrostatic powder painted in order to pre-vent corrosion with thickness ranging from 50μm-80 μm. Before painting, the metal cover surface is cleaned with an iron phosphate treatment in order to increase the life span.

ABOUT US

Kodsan is the first and largest enamelled water heater manufacturer in Turkey, it was founded in 1984 in order to provide solutions for challenging hot water projects. Working in a closed area of 12.000 m2 with over 120 experienced employees, Kodsan manufactures enamelled water heaters, accumulation tanks, air separators, dirt separators and balance tanks.

KBS SINGLE SERPENTINE WATER HEATER

KBS is a suitable solution for economic and hygienic domestic hot water. The volume of the vertical KBS single serpentine water heater model ran-ges from 100 litres to 3000 litres. Heat losses are low due to the highly ef-fective insulation (HCFC-free) applied all-around the body. The serpentine extending full-length from top to bottom heats the water homogeneously preventing the existence of cold areas suitable for bacteria growth. Additi-onally cathodic protection is provided through the magnesium anode rod. Electric heating elements (resistances) can be supplied up to 30 kW if requested.

Heat losses are low due to the highly effective heat insulation (HCFC-free) applied all-around. The serpentines extending full-length from top to bottom heats the water homogeneously preventing the existence of cold areas suitable for bacteria growth. Additionally cathodic protection is provided through the magnesium anode rod. The domestic hot water supply can be heated simultaneously by the solar collector and boiler. The solar collector feed goes through the lower serpentine. Electric heating elements (resistances) can be supplied up to 30 kW if requested.
