These cats are being cared for—and are cared about!

Members of your community are caring for the cats through Trap-Neuter-Return.

We are taking the cats to get spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and eartipped (the universal symbol of a neutered and vaccinated cat). We then return healthy, adult community cats—also called feral cats—to their outdoor home.

The cats will no longer reproduce—no more kittens! Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) improves their lives and yours. Plus, TNR is effective and humane. Other approaches for community cats just don’t work.

Don’t take cats to pounds or shelters.For more than 10,000 years, cats have been living outside near people. Community cats are domestic cats like pet cats, but are afraid of us and can’t be adopted—they live outside, but are killed in shelters. They are happy and healthy outdoors where they coexist with people.
