I always use the Situational leadership style developed

by Paul Hersey .....which has helped me a lot in handling

difficult scenarios while dealing with subordinates

Have used and implemented various techniques from

motivating subordinates to stress management

Understanding of human behavior comes only through

experience, only studying a subject doesnt help

interviewed) 10 respondents agreed that

study of OB has contributed to their

success. However 9 said apart from study

of OB its the experience that evolved

them as successful managers

Conclusion

A manager's job is to manage people, who

constitute the "organization". If he can't

understand these people (i.e. their behavior),

the he cannot manage them effectively

Study of OB gives a Manager conceptual

clarity about various aspects of HumanBehavior in an organizational set up hence

he can tactfully handle people around him
