FIS Code Connect

Overview

FIS Code Connect is an API gateway, which provides one-stop access to all APIs across FIS. It provides a central access point for FIS to expose and manage all FIS solutions through APIs.

This document describes the process that FIS employees follow in order to obtain access to FIS Code Connect to view API solutions that FIS offers.

Note: This document should never be shared with FIS clients, as they register for FIS Code Connect access on the Code Connect web site: https://codeconnect.fisglobal.com

Obtaining Access to FIS Code Connect

FIS employees who need access to explore the APIs available on FIS Code Connect must complete a two-step process:

• Obtain Prod.Local access using DASH

• Submit a JIRA request to receive access to FIS APIs in the UAT (readiness) environments

You can request access to specific lines of business offering FIS APIs such as IBS Open APIs, HORIZON APIs, Profile 8 APIs, Card APIs, etc.

Obtain a Prod.Local Account

1. Access DASH at the following URL.

https://dash.fisglobal.com/default.aspx

2. Under Requests, select Submit New Request. A list of request types appears.

3. Scroll to find (Select) Windows Product Account.

4. Click (Select) for that item. The New Request: Windows Production Account appears:

5. In the Request Reason field, indicate that you will need UAT access to Code Connect.

6. Click Submit Request. After you receive your Prod.Local access, you can request access to FIS APIs on Code Connect.

Create an API Gateway Support Issue (Ticket) in JIRA

If you do not have access to JIRA, send an email to spdissues@fisglobal.com requesting access and copy your manager, who must approve your access. You cannot create an API Gateway Support Issue without access to JIRA.

1. Access JIRA at the following URL:

https://spdissues.fnis.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

2. Login to JIRA using your Enumber and password.

3. In the list of Projects, select API Gateway Support.

4. At the top of the API Gateway Support page, click Create. The Create Issue dialog opens:

5. In the Issue Type field, select a value of Onboarding Request.

6. In the Summary field, indicate the API products to which you want access. For example, type IBS APIs, HORIZON APIs, Profile 8 APIs, Card APIs, etc. You can request access to multiple API products.

7. Select a due date.

8. Select the environment that you want to access.

9. In the Description field, indicate that you want access to FIS APIs in the UAT environment. (UAT is the readiness environment.)

10. Click Create. The request is opened and will be assigned to someone from the EPO team who will give you access. It may take a few days for the request to be processed.
