Vi Wilson continued the honor roll with 212-585, fol-lowed by Pris Mauricio 223-548, Nancy Soto 538, Gladyce Perrin and Betty Phillips had 511 series, Jean Morby and Dee Phipps tied on 510, Hedy Schoner and Mary Dixon had 502 and Mary DeFord 500.

NORWALK—We had a great time of bowling at Keystone Lanes this summer. We had some impressive scores recorded. To start things off is our adorable Bumpers. Angela Cordero, with a 62 average booked both games over her average with a 72 and 69. Joseph Leo was right up there with her. Joseph bowled 86 and 79, which was very good because his average is only 73. Last but not least was duplicates games by David Schneider, who hit 90 both games and he only has an average of 90. Great job “Bumpers”. Now on to our Prep’s Division.

The following Prep’s all bowled over their averages all three games:

Gabriel Reyes, 54 average, 71/73/60, Boboy Tigas, 82 aver-age bowled 110/98/100. Brandon Vista, with a 91 average bowled 124,124,119. Joshua Prickett had a nice 117 game with only a 95 av-erage, but the top Prep honors go to Mark Welling with a 89 average bowled 188 pins over his average! He bowled a 195,157,103! (Watch out big brother Matthew, Marks coming for you!) Seems like yes-terday these Preps were Bumpers, now they’re having games like the Minors!

Stepping on up to the Mi-nors, we have the high scorer going to John Guaydacan with a 145 average, bowling 163, 148, 128. Lauree Bennett with a 149 average bowled a 152, 160 and a 97. Finishing up was Raymond Munoz who bowled all 3 games over his 89 average with games, 91,135,137. Good job Minors!

Now on to our high flying Majors! Ryan Huff leads off with all 3 games over his 148 average shooting 167, 158, 157. Team mate Jerome Hays was fly-ing with a 191 and an impressive 242 game, not bad when you’re only 142, average. Adam Rhodes bowled all 3 games over his 154 average, bowling 180, 211, 156! Nick Lewis had a nice 207 game; Joshua Aguilar had a 194, 182 with a 154 average.

Topping all bowlers at Key-stone Lanes this week was a strik-ing machine better known as Jona-than Huff. He bowled a 231, 267, 187 with a 679 series. To think he only has a 191 average.

and received $200.Our newest champion, Jun

Cadenas, 30, has been bowling for less than two years. Jun has a 279 game to his credit and a high series of 704 and does his league bowl-ing at Cal Bowl and AMF Carter Lanes.

Vuong wanted to thank God for His blessings, his wife, Mac-rene and children, Margaux, Jus-tine and Mikayla for their love and support.

Jun also wanted to thank Ju-lian Conwi and Resty Sanchez for their help and encouragement and Mike Wahl for taking care of his equipment.

Jun also wanted to thank Cal Bowl for hosting the tournament and the ABT Directors and Staff for running an outstanding tourna-ment.

The Mystery Game Pot game and score were drawn after our fi-nal squad. Game #4 was the game drawn. The first chance score of 185 (possibly good for $400) was drawn.

Our second chance score (pos-sibly good for $200) was 220. The third chance score (possibly good for $100) was 248 and fourth chance was 146.

Adam Drozdz was the winner of the second chance. The Mys-tery Pot is available to all mem-bers (Classic and Masters) and only costs $5.

National Deaf Bowling Newsby Connie Marchione

FRANK GALLO CASHING REGULARLY IN PBA REGIONAL EVENTS NEWPORT NEWS...I am a big fan of PBA. Besides as a bowling writer, I received press re-

leases from PBA, I also checked in PBA.com for regional events to find out how the deaf PBA bowler Frank Gallo was doing lately after end of PBA Senior Tour.

You may recall two month ago I wrote that Gallo finally won a PBA Regional event after a frus-trated 30 years of trying. Since winning he tries to enter in Seniors Regional tournaments and in the East Regional tournaments in which he competes against PBA exempt bowlers who also entered. Gallo had some “failed to cash” but in the new season so far he is cashing. No big cashes but just enough to pay for his entry fees.

In two East Senior regional events he placed 49th and 59th for the super senior prizes of $250.00 in each. In two of the four East Regional events, he qualified and made the match plays, losing both times in first round. In one he qualified in 9th and finished in 11th for $500.00 and in the other he qualified 11th and finished in 13th for another $500.00.

The East Regional Statistics showed Gallo in a respectable 11th place with 217 average for 25 games in two tournaments, in 7th place with $1000.00 earnings and in 20th place with 1,900 points. He has a long way to go to get enough points to be another deaf bowler since Pete Kaczmarczyk to be invited to the PBA Regional Players Invitational Championship.PHILIPPE RESTURANT CELEBRATES 100 YEARS OF FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES

LOS ANGELES...I read in the papers that LA’s Philippe The Original French Dips celebrated it’s 100th anniversary of dishing out its famous French dip sandwiches by cutting the price to a dime each last week. Also a cup of coffee for a nickel. That was their 1908 prices and it drew blocks long line of the French dip admirers that day.

Philippes is just a walk to right across street from the Union Station downtown and has been there since 19O7. Back then it was serving plain beef sandwiches and one busy day the cook ac-cidentally dropped a dollop of beef in the sauce when preparing the sandwiches.

Instead of putting the soaked sandwiches aside, he pushed them out to the diners. Then instead of complaining, they came back asking for more with the sauce on it. So the French dip was started there.

Why was I mentioning this, as it is not a bowling story? I never knew about Philippes until Southern California Bowling Writers invited me to join as its first deaf member back in the early 1970’s. The Writers had many of its meetings at Philippes in its private rooms upstairs. We, the writers ordered our share of its delicious French dips and other foods brought up and eat before we start our meetings.

For the past several years So. Calif. Bowling Writers had been put off for lack of money and new members. Many of our members had deceased or moved out of state. Right now there are five of us living, besides me, Ray Rosenbaum, Carol Mancini, Charles Kinstler and Alice Meglemre. There may be more names but I could not remember.

The Writers had respected me as a deaf person, even elected me as it’s vice president and later its President for a year as the nation’s first deaf President of a hearing writers organization. So. Calif.

Bowling Writers held awards banquets since its founding, giving out awards for Southland youth and adult male and female all star teams and bowlers of year, bowling service, distinguished service and Hall of Fame. They were kind to establish an award for handicapped bowler and named it after me. I was honored with both distinguished service and Hall of Fame awards on separate occasions. Too bad that lack of money and no new members forced a halt to its awards banquet and it was very much missed.

Since the Writers’ put off, every time I happened to do business in downtown LA, I always plan to stop at Philippes for its French dip sandwich at lunch.

All five U.S. Women’s Open shows will air in order during a five-hour marathon on ESPN Classic on Sunday, Nov. 30

beginning at 10 am. Set Your Tivos to Record it!

ABTAAMERICAN BOWLERS TOURNAMENT ASSOCIATION

(at KEYSTONE LANES)October 11th, 2008FINAL RESULTS

N O RWA L K — R i c h a r d Lim a regular ABTA perform-er won his second ABTA Title at Keystone Lanes. He did it the tough way, winning five straight matches in the single elim finals, edging upstart pretty Hi Qualifier Margie Coronado in the title game for a nice $1,900 to take home to Bellflower.

Richard topped a decent turnout of 168 entrants which was good with so many regu-lars in Las Vegas. We saw nice cut scores thanks to new Ro-botic Lane Machine, +89 men and +36 for ladies. Sunday’s Squad had men +86 and La-dies +67, with the added Super Seniors of Art Lindsay, Rico Cayton and Bobbie Mc Collum we totaled a field of 52 to the Semifinals in hopes of making the top 16 singe elims.

The semis began and ended with one of our regular Lady members Margie Coronado who was on fire(HOT) in the semis. She shot a big +181 to lead the semis to have the right to sit out and bowl for the Championship. Right near was Rich Lawson + 151. He would receive a first round bye in the top 16 finals and enter in round two. It took a big +100 to make the top 16 on the sweet lane condition which included 3 guaranteed ladies. In round 0ne Losers were Jerilyn Morales, Tiffany Morita, , Rick Hornback, An-thony Dancel, Gary Gordon and Jimmy Wong.

Saturday 12:00-1:00-2:30 & 4:00 PM, Finals Squad Semis 6:00 PMBill Nord, Jeremy Paulsen, Steven Smith and Carlos Cas-tillo lose out. They cashed checks of $110.

Round three got hot as Richard Lawson (0n Fire) downed Mikey Villarreal 290-231. Richard Lim downed “El President” Danny Guevarra in a good one 243-230. So Dan-ny and Mikey were 4th and 5th at $120 each with nice bowl-ing. Richard Lawson and Lim now met for the right to ad-vance to the title game vs Mar-gie Coronado.

This game was another good one. Lim finally pre-vailed outstriking Lawson at the end to win a 251-234 match. Third went to the affa-ble Lawson, $200. He bowled well folks!! Lim on to the title game vis Margie.

The title game was now underway. Lim led off, and struck. Margie then threw a stong pocket shot and got a bad break leaving a 4-10 split. He then had a 2-10 split in the 2nd. Lim had the lead. Margie answered with a turkey to take a lead. But not to be out done Richard answered right back with three and we had a good match. Both bowlers opened in the 8th and Margie just could not double to catch up. The title went to the Young Gentle-man who is liked by all in our club in a 191/221-166/207 margin and a nice $1,900 with his shirt bonus and cash n carry. Great Bowling by a fine young gentleman. Congrats Richard on Your win. You are most deserving. His par-

ents and brother got there just as the match ended and were proud and should be! All are great people and a nice fam-ily.

Great bowling by Margie Coronado who literally stole the show til the end. She really bowled lights out! Margie got $500 to shop with:-)

Rich Lawson, a great guy, really bowled well in 3rd and a title is next for him. He surely could have won this one as well as he bowled!

Tourney Hi Qualifiers were Anthony Dancel +191, and Rina Cordero led the ladies +137. Both get paid entries.

The doubles were topped by Minh Dang and Bart San-chez at 1543. Dang in 2nd with Vuong Do 1530 and $130. We paid 14 places in the doubles and $1,070 to our members.

The Match Game was Matched at 160 by four of our regulars. They happily shared the $940 pot and $235 each. They being Butch Obrar, Pil-bert Colian, Ed Blum and Nimh Phan. We estimate a $1000 pot this weekend at Del Rio

The Match Series was Matched by another regular to be sure as C.M. Smooth Chauney Merritt receives $518 for his $2.00 investment for his 589 series. We estimate the Series at $300 this week at Del Rio. Kmel Cunanan was last up in the 3-6-9 roll off but missed on shot 2. So we go for $1,400 this Saturday at Del Rio. He got a $50 Consola-tion for beer money.

GARDEN GROVE - It was high scoring this week-end as 11 entrants qualified for the beat the board semis with a cut score of +103. JOY SARTE got everyone’s attention at AMF Valley View Lanes last Saturday. The lone female qualifier, she started strong with her 287 but Gian had the lead with his 302 after the first game. Joy’s 231 helped her pass Gian after the 2nd game for a 518/505 lead. Tres shot a great 267 for the third game earning him the 3rd spot with his 720 but Joy held on the top spot with her 228/746 while Gian finished close 2nd with his 220/735.

Congratulations to Roger Wrase who bowled a 300 game during the 2pm qualifying squad. Rick Llaneta was our raffle winner and took home the Twisted Fury bowl-ing ball by Brunswick. We started our optional pots this weekend. LUCKY Game 2 worth $300 will carry over next weekend as none of the bowlers matched the 182 Scratch game. Same goes with our LUCKY Series worth $150 as majority of the bowlers scored higher than 487. Gian won an extra $25 as consolation prize since he was not able to complete the three strikes for our LUCKY Strikes pot worth $300. We’ll see which lucky bowlers will break our LUCKY pots next weekend at Cal. It’s going to be a 2-day event so please check our AD for details.

We would like to thank AMF Valley View Lanes for being a great host and we truly appreciate all our fellow bowlers who showed up and had fun with us over the weekend!

STUDIO CITY — A history lesson of the sport of bowling will fol-low after these quick words: Have you seen the extended space in our “prime real-estate” lockers? If you haven’t, then now is the time to look into a locker. Also Halloween is upon us, so Bowl-a-ween here at Pinz, where we will give out prizes and more. Just wear a costume and bowl a few games. It will be spook-tacular.

PINZ ADULTS Now we start the lesson: First off-Duckpin bowling: Commonly found in the mid-Atlantic and southern New England states and east-ern Canada, is another variation of ten-pin bowling involving small, squat pins, sometimes with rubber at their widest points. Official small pin is about 9 3/8 inches high and 4 1/8 inches in diameter at its widest part. It weighs no more than 1 pound 8 1/2 ounces. The standard duckpin ball has no finger holes. The maximum diameter is 5 inches. for duckpins and candlepins. The maximum weight of the ball is 4 pounds 12 ounces. Our bowlers aren’t web-footed so look at their scores: Tavern Guild: Tom Whitaker 236/695, Mark Peavey 248/690, Rick Kondo 237/622, David Thomason 237, David Quam 225. Twilighters: Mark Spiwak 243/683, Scott Brutz 628, Eric Maize 612, George Cruz 222/603, Laurie Faso 600, Bob Riffle 235, Michael Holt 229, Eddie Barnes 224, Mike Green 222. Kings and Queens: Kevin Collins 647, Richard Fischer 258/646, David McKennett 227/610, Edwin Marfil 603, Brett Himmel 243, Luke Avery 236, Eric Erickson 234. Funseekers: Gary Bailer 257/670, Zoran Jacimovic 232/657, Tony Annibale 641, Keane Murakami 246/638, Dave Dittlinger 228/620, Paul Sentner 225. S.C.B.L.: Tony Laanan 248/711, Michael Gurrieri 245/693, Jim Foltyn 634, Bob Hatch 627, Keane Murakami 255/627, Dave Ya-mamoto 236, Dwayne Miller 234, Marvin Nance 234.

PINZ JUNIORS Our second lesson is about Candlepin Bowling: Played in eastern Canada and in New England. A variation of ten-pin bowling, with “double-ended’’ pins that are the tallest in any bowling sport. Luckily, we only play “normal” ten-pin bowling here. Again, now it is time to view the scores: Adult Junior: Damond Taylor 286/715, Jamie Spector 223, Ethan Bensinger 203, Treven Goldsmith 201, Max Korn 200. Senior Scratch: Natalie Kato 235/853, Scott Englehart 238/827, Natalie Honda 258/818, Brittlan Halpern 226/804, Nikolai Berk 234/799. Senior Galaxies: Jonathan Berk 145/390, Daniel Cohen 138/379, Mario Vargas 129/367, Stirling McCulloch 147/361, Noah Lander 129/352. Junior Stars: Nicole Martinez 136/321, Nicholas Martinez 98/238. Pee Wee Bumpers: Kayla Arriaga 84/163, Juan Gomez 80/153, Samantha Vargas 75/137, Andrew Parker 73/131.

PINZ SENIORS/LADIES Our final lecture is about lawnpin bowling. This category of bowl-ing is usually played outdoors on a lawn. At outdoor bowling, the players throw a ball, which is sometimes eccentrically weighted, in an attempt to put it closest to a designated point or slot in the bowling area. Well, we are indoors now and garnering great scores: Happy Timers: Jack Burkenheim 208/504, Gary Olsen 461, Ruth Swick 165/435, Yolanda Dragotta 143/364, Art Abell 168. Breakfast Club: Myrna Schiffman 207/503, Pam Vaughan 172/474, Marion Weis 166/467, Alba Donohue 169/445, Terri Jowdy 193/441. Coffee and Donuts: Joan Karchem 169/492, Pauline Lipin 182/489, Charlene Gaffney 173/482, Karen Wolkoff 170/470, Aria-mae Shapiro 171/463, Joan Karchem 169, Elayne Klein 169. Pin Pals: Karen Collier 244/512, Ellen Engel 173/433, Shelly Djer-cian 150/421, Judy Kautz 154/366, Barbara Schwartz 136/360. Joslyn Seniors: Joel Margolis 193/519, Lee Waldorf 197/516, Teri Bonato 166/480, Marion Weis 165/472. Bowler of the Week: Even though his high score was a 167, he bowled a 286 this week. Hehas been a consistent bowler and con-tinues to impress all of us. Damond Taylor lit up the Adult Junior circuit with a 715 series this weekend. Great bowling. Sweetness Quote of the Week: “Poopy doopy, bowl a Sloopy”—this was submitted by Masha’s boyfriend “Jake the Snake” (please interpret it).

2008 CUSBC Youth State Scratch Champions: Cameron Smith and Deanna Carrillo

VISAILA—The California USBC Youth State Scratch Tour-nament was held Oct 4-5 at AMF Visaila Lanes. Cameron Smith from San Diego and Deanna Carrillo from Montebello were crowned the champions. With 90 entries, we had a turnout of 71 boys and 19 girls and awarded $12,380 in scholarships to all the bowlers that made it to the double elimination finals on Sunday. After 12 games of qualifying and 6 games of semi-finals, 16 boys and 8 girls headed into the double elimination finals. With this event certified as a sport event and with the bowlers having to register only a maximum of six balls to use for the weekend, it was awesome to see Charlie Hair from Lake Forest shoot 300 in the finals and Brandon Kraye from La Habra shoot 290 in the second block of qualifying.

In the Boys Division, fourth place was filled by Jeff Spies-man ($1000) from Sacramento, third place was Devin Bidwell ($1200), Simi Valley and Michael Pixley ($1400), Sacramento moved on to the final match from the loser’s bracket to meet Cameron Smith. Pixley won the match, forcing the final roll-off. Cameron Smith came out on top as champion and earning a $1650 scholarship.

In the Girls Division, fourth place was Brittany Page ($300) from Los Angeles, third place went to Alysse McGinnes ($400), La Crescenta and Danielle Schilling ($500) from Ventura moved on to the final match coming from the loser’s bracket to meet up against undeafeated Deanna Carrillo. Deanna won the final match and earned a $830 scholarship with her title.

There were 3 gold qualifiers held. Nicole Shepard, Charles Goulet, Jacob Setchell and Charlie Hair all earned spots into the 2009 Jr. Gold National Finals to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana next July.

by David YamauchiGlover Back In The Winner’s CircleThe JAT made its way to the San Fernando Valley for our

first trip to Canoga Park Bowl this season. The house put down a touch shot for us and the scores reflected that- Devin Bidwell led qualifying at +1-3 while low to qualify was Natalie Jime-nez at a low -86. After the round of 8, the top-seeded Devin Bidwell, 2nd-seed Jeremy Glover, 3rd-seed Brent Shern and 5th-seed Brandon Kraye filled out a strong field of semi-finalists. Both matches went three games as Jeremy Glover and Brandon Kraye advanced to the Championship Match. Jeremy came out swinging with a 264-237 win while Brandon struck back with a thrilling 265-251 win. The final match came down the execution and Jeremy Glover took the title with a very nice 245-205 win. Congratulations Jeremy!

Trevi Entertainment CenterDiso, German & Hawkins Win JST Titles

LAKE ELSINORE—JST this past weekend could be found

out at the beautiful Trevi Entertainment Center in Lake Elsinore. Weather was great and the traffic not to bad. Had a great turn-out of bowlers from Simi Valley to San Diego, Torrence to La Quienta. All because of our Great sponsors; Roto Grip Bowling Products, Pins & Needles Embroidery, B&W Bowling that help us put these tournaments on for the youth bowlers. Also a big thank you for Trevi Ent. Center Denise and the staff for hosting the tournament.

The Roto Grip Raffle was won by Nick Guggisberg he drew a ticket for a 3 ball Tote by Roto Grip. The Hdcp division was off and running, rolling some strong games right of the gate, with hdcp Lindsey Langer 260, David Fritz 253, J. T. Diso 250, Rob-ert Dempster 246, Tyler Smith 244. Lindsey got the high points for game and David Frits lead the series with 1116 to grab the series points. Match play moved the bowlers around, J.T. Diso jumped to the 1st position, David Fritz dropped to #2, Lauren Langer, Lindsey’s sister jumped up into the number #3 and Rob-ert Dempster was #4 for the roll off. Robert rolled 213 to def. Lauren’s 203, Robert then came back with a 265 to get past Da-vid’s 188, but the final match was right down to the last ball, last frame with J.T. Diso winning by 1, over Roberts 219, WOW!!! I wonder if someone is following in their father’s foot steps. Do you think Jon?

High Game points go-ing the Natalie and Joey. Series went to Devin. But when match play was over the picture was James Hawkins in #1 spot, Natalie Jimenez in #2, Brandon Kraye #3 and Devin Bidwell in the #4 chair. Devin was ready and began to climb the latter rolling 236 to get past Brandon, then again 254 to get by Natalie, but James was having nothing to do with this being at his home center and all the support and help E.G. Mock has done for him he held on with a solid 257 to hold off Devin’s 226. James asked to say thank you to E, G, for all the help and support.

Youth Travel Leagueby Otha Stubblefield

NORWALK—You’d think that after a two week break I’d have a lot to say. Surprisingly, I don’t.

Our last stop at Keystone was disappointing, but not from a scor-ing standpoint. Attendance this week was somewhat dismal. This is especially bad for some of you who are aging juniors. I hope you don’t do this when you join adult leagues. Believe me, your team-mates will be less forgiving than I am.

That said, let’s celebrate our loyal bowlers. Brent Shern led scoring with a 786 series and a 212 high game. Following Brent was Justin Gadaire with a 728 se-ries and a 212 high game, and then Matthew Jones with a 722 series and 214 high game. Other high games were bowled by Austin Gadaire 203 and Claudell Red-wine 198. During the break, we traveled to Visalia for the State Scratch Championship.

The turnout was impressive with slightly over 90 bowlers. I was happy to see that half our league attended the tournament, and our highest finisher was Jer-emy Glover in 7/8th place for a $500 scholarship. I didn’t get a chance to see the overall results from Jim Kunz, but I heard that most of the league attended and bowled a few no-tap 300’s.

I’m glad you spent some of your break wisely. I can’t say that I did the same, but that’s a story for another edition. We’re going to AMF Bowl-O-Drome this week. Start time is 1:30. If you’re going to have trouble get-ting there, please let me know so I can help you out. Don’t forget that Pepsi is coming up in a couple of weeks! Seeya!

JAT Farm Clubby David Gordon

CANOGA PARK – This is the JAT Farm Club update of our most recent tournament held at Canoga Park Bowl on September 21st. This being only our second tournament of the 2008-09 sea-son, the turnout is still somewhat low as we welcome in new bowlers from around the southland. We had 28 bowl-ers taking on a modified house shot, allowing us to cut to the top 14 bowl-ers for match play. The oil pattern sur-prised many of the bowlers who were expecting the normal high scoring. Those that adjusted quickly and found their line reaped the rewards.

In the 5 game qualifying round we had Albert Fernandez putting up the tournament high game with a 277. Albert also added a 223 in his set, to lock himself into the next round. We also had high scoring from Gabriella Mayfield with a 253, Brandon Pekins 244-231, Daniel Updegraff 237, Pat-rick Smith 223, Anthony Rose 223, and Gary Smith 222. Mr. Pekins led the way after five at plus 12, while the 14th spot to advance was tied at minus 143.

In match play, we only had a few high scores with Rose having another good game of 235, Stevn Roderick with a 223 and Victor Hilvano 221. Roder-ick made the most of match play, after winning the qualifying tie-breaker for the last spot, jump 9 positions and into the finals.

The finals then kicked off with the 5th seed Roderick (-52) taking on the 4th seed Fernandez (even). The veteran Fernandez jumped out quickly to a 204-164 win, to move on to meet the 3rd seed P. Smith (+3). Both looking for their first Farm Club title, it was Smith to advance to the semi-final match with a 198-185 win. Here Smith matched up against 2nd seed Brian Hernandez (+7) in another tight game advanced once again with a 194-182 win. Now Smith had to face off with top seed Hil-vano (+80) in the final match-up. In the best of three format Smith took the first game 234-175. Hilvano answered backed by taking the second game 182-156. Good scoring from both in the last game ending with a Smith 220-200 vic-tory for his first title. Congratulations Patrick.

Tournament #3 for the Farm Club will be this Sunday, October 19th, at Palos Verdes Bowl. Check-in begins at 8:15 and we will start promptly at 9:00. Please be on time and remember to be in full dress code. Details can be found on our web site www.bowljat.org. Hope to see all of the veterans and a lot of new faces on Sunday.

SED Jr. Travelby David Gordon

HUNTINGTON PARK – The SED Jr. Travel tried out the con-ditions at Gage Bowl this past Saturday. Some good scores were posted as the small group start to work on refining their skills.

The leader of the day was J.D. Pelow putting up 211-255/838. Mr. Pelow is joined in our 800 club by Jay De La Torre, who shot 237-206-212/823. Way to go gen-tlemen. Additional high scoring came in from Amanda Neil with a nice 213 game, Deanna Carrillo 212, Jon Morales 202/716, and Kim Ferdnance 201.

We have some vacancies in our league and I want to remind you bowlers that you’re shooting against a 175 score. It’s time to start working on those spares and clean games. That’ll take you over the mark most of the time. The strikes will come.

This week we’re having a double session at Keystone Lanes in Norwalk. Eight games for the day so get plenty of rest. The first session starts at 12:30 on the low side. Please be on time and ready to go.

Lastly, I want to congratulate Ms. Carrillo for winning the Girls Division of the State Scratch tour-nament in Visalia on October 4th & 5th. Way to represent. Bowlers have a good week and I’ll see you at Keystone.
