might be able to get PLUGGED-IN. Everyoneneeds a ministry! God requires you to serve Him in
some capacity. In preparation for that day, I askthat you take time to pray for the Spirits leading in

I hope everyone enjoyed participating in the Fair this year. It is always good to stop andenjoy the simpler life for awhile, especially when that includes greasy french fries andelephant ears.
Speaking of ears, please lend me yours for a few seconds. I am really looking forward toOctober 29th when we have our GO FORTH weekend. We still need more of you tomake a difference that day. Wont you please consider doing your part? As I challengedyou Sunday, Do something! We are in need of several of you to help with our churchkitchen project. It really needs a good cleaning up. If you can help, please contact DonTaylor. Thank you!
In our Sunday night LIFE group we have been studying the book, Not A fan, by KyleIdleman. Last week we had to come to grips with the message of two scriptures.
John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoeverwould believe in Him, would not perish but have eternal life.
That verse focuses on believing.
Luke 9:23-If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his crossand follow me.
That verse focuses on following.
Those two things must necessarily go together. There is no believing without following.
That word anyone is very significant and is all-inclusive. I know that you have to havefriends or co-workers or family who still need to know that Jesus said anyone. Nomatter what mistakes they have made; no matter what sins they have committed. Jesusis relying on you to get the word out so that anyone can become one of his followers.Think about it!
This Sunday I will begin introducing to you a very challenging sermon series for the
month of November. It will cause you to trust more than you ever have. I hope to seeyou Sunday.
