Massive Muley! If you are from Minnesota, this mule deer would be knocking on da door of dat “tirty point buck” song. Here in northeast Montana we’ll call it a 10-point buck: 10 points on each side! Glasgow’s Keith Fogle has been chasing this wiley critter since the beginning of archery season. It finally took the general rifle season to bag him this past Sunday morning. “I didn’t chase elk during archery season because of this guy,” Keith said. In fact, getting down to the final days of hunting with his bow, Keith snuck in as close as 20 feet... and blew it. “That

one was my own fault,” he admitted, adding, “I would have been a little more jacked if I had gotten him with my bow.” Taken southeast of Glasgow out in sagebrush country, this muley has an outside span of 34 inches. “I’ve been hunting for 42 years and haven’t ever come across a buck like this,” he said, “hard to believe after that winter of 2010.” Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is in the process of aging the deer. Initial thoughts are that it is a five-year-old. Keith said he’ll let us know when he gets the results.

You should be nice to people on the way up because you might meet them on the way down.

Morgan Guttenberg: “It was a tight course, especially at the start! Mr. Karst advised us to start faster than normal to avoid getting boxed in. I think it really helped us!” Emily Kolstad: “Being neck and neck with Julia was fun and really made me push myself this year to get a personal best at state.” Coach K: “Both of our teams had the smallest gap between our first runner and our fifth. The boys were separated by 45 seconds and the girls by 56 seconds. That is excellent grouping! Four out of seven boys had

Scotty Cross Country athletes describe their state appearancetheir season best time (one tied his season best); and six out of seven girls had their season best time. That is amazing considering that this was a 5K and not a 3 mile race. The course is 1/10 of a mile longer than what we normally run, and the kids still were faster! I was very happy with their performances!”

Walker Allen: “The course was fast and so were we. Everyone had a great race! We all did what we needed to do, the other teams just ran amazing races as well. It was a great season and I am proud of all the guys and gals I ran with throughout the years. I’m going to miss them all.”

Business conventions are important because theydemonstrate how many people a company canoperate without.

Merlin McKean: “I thought the course was flat, but since the course was a 5K our times are a little slow. Everyone on our team got along well, so the season went well.”

Katie Kaiser: “Running for the first time at State was pretty cool. I had a good time.”

Julia Kolstad: “It was so much fun running with everyone and we had a great year. We really pushed each other to strive for better and I couldn’t ask for a better team.”

Faith Sallee: “This year went by so fast. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait for next year!”

Brinlie Nielsen: “Everyone really stepped it up for this meet. The top five girls ran under 22 and the 6th girl was just shy of sub 22. We might not have placed like we wanted, but we gave it our best.”

Alex Simensen: “I am going to miss the team so much! We pushed each other to be great, and we had lots of fun! We may not have gotten the results we were hoping for, but we all ran our hardest!”

Ellis McKean: “I thought the course was flat and the weather was good. I also thought the season was really fun and everyone got along so well. It was way better than junior high!”

Gabe Hallock: “The course was terrific and very fast, excluding the crammed starting line. Overall, it was a great experience and everyone ran well.”

Braden Meland: “I thought it was a pretty fast course, the hills weren’t too terrible. In the end it was a pretty nice course and I was able to hit 17!”

Chase Hughes: “I didn’t run as well as I would have liked to end my high school career, it was still a great time. It has been fun running for Coach Karst and I’m really going to miss all of it.”

Cade Myrick: “I thought the course was fast and state was a great experience and was really fun.”

Thank You Where do I start? Thank you everyone for the support, food and comfort offered to my family. I can’t list everyone, I’ll forget someone for sure. You know who you are and we Thank You. The love and support from the Glasgow community goes above and beyond! Thank you family and friends.

Question: How many vegetarians does it take to eat a bacon cheeseburger? Answer: Only one, if nobody’s looking.

How to fall down stairs:Step 1Step 6Step 7,8,9,11.

One day, a physicist, an engineer, and a statistician go on a hunting trip. They are walking through the woods when they spot a deer in a clearing. The physicist calculates the distance of the target, the velocity and drop of the bullet, adjusts his rifle and fires, missing the deer 5 feet to the left. The engineer rolls his eyes. “You forgot to account for wind. Give it here.” He snatches the rifle out of the physicist’s hands, licks his finger and estimates the speed and direction of the wind and fires, missing the deer five feet to the right. Suddenly, the statistician jumps up, claps his hands and yells, “We got him! We got him!”

Following the news of the deadly shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee in July of this year, 22-year-old Tomi Lahren (now 23, the Rapid City, South Dakota native’s birthday was August 11th) used her “Final Thoughts” section on One America News Network to unleash a passionate rant on the president’s fight against terrorism: “Four United States Marines are now dead. Climate change didn’t kill them. Lack of free community college didn’t kill them. The income gap, wage and equality — nope, not those things either. Gay marriage? Nope. Oh, white racism? Not that either. So what did? “President Obama, if you won’t say it, I will — radical Islam. This is not workplace violence; this is not a criminal act with motives unknown, this is terrorism,” Lehren says in the video. “What he linked to ISIS or al-Qaida or Hamas, or any of the other 15-plus offshoot terrorist groups? Does it matter? I’m sorry, but radical Islam is becoming the rule, not the exception. Yesterday’s moderate is today’s terrorist. I care that this S.O.B. killed four of our United States Marines. And I care that our commander-in-chief is more concerned with Muslim sensitivity than the honor and sacrifice made by these Marines.” Lahren is referencing the 24-year-old shooter Mohammad Abdulazeez, who killed four U.S. Marines and one active duty Navy reservist in Chattanooga July 15th. Lahren, who comes from a family of Marines, closed her segment with: ...“They, the radical Islamists have brought the fight right here to the red, white, and

Rapid City girl’s rapid fire in her ‘Final Thoughts’blue, and it’s about time we bring it to them. Full force. Let’s show them what the United States of America looks like up close and personal. Show them what a B1 Bomber looks like flying overhead. Show them what they’re messing with. Put the fear of God in their desert, because clearly our lack of strategy isn’t working.” Tomi’s broadcast from that night in late July went viral and were viewed more than 2 million times in 72 hours. If you have yet to view her “Final Thoughts”, check it out here:

http://youtu.be/ABrauM7yvco On August 19th, Tomi Lahren announced that she had completed her last show with OAN. She has officially joined TheBlaze TV as the network’s newest personality and brought her popular “Final Thoughts” segment with her. Additionally, she will also host a self-
