GCM Elementary and Secondary ESL Instructional Specialist
collaboratively facilitate an ESL TExES Review Session to prepare
teachers for the ESL certification test. Teachers are involved in a
reflection activity about the domains within the ESL TExES exam.
Teachers at Highlands Junior School utilize
content and language objectives in the
classroom or interactive exit ticket strategy to
informally assess learning by posing the
question at the end of the period “What Stuck
with You?”
Teachers at the Secondary Newcomer
Academy integrate technology to assist
in English language development.
