Haunted Roads of Western Pennsylvania: Legends and History October 29  Presented by Thomas White Duquesne University Archives Join author and historian Thomas White as he explores the supernatural legends surrounding some of the regions most haunted roads. Tuesdays  12:15 pm The Reel Story October 6  DVD 87 minutes An uptight and by-the-book police woman tries to protect the outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen. Starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. (2015) The Reel Story October 13  DVD 105 minutes A celebrated military contractor returns to Honolulu and reconnects with an old love while unexpectedly falling for the determined Air Force watchdog assigned to him. Starring Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone. (2015) The Reel Story October 20  DVD 91 minutes  This riveting thriller fictionalizes the filming of Nosferatu and the difficult relationship between director F.W. Murnau and actor Max Schreck. As cast and crew begin to disappear, it seems that Murnau has made a devil's bargain with Schreck, whose performance is too authentic. Starring John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe. (2000) Supernatural Lore of Western Pennsylvania October 27  Presented by Thomas White  Duquesne University Archives Strange creatures and tales of the supernatural thrive in Pennsylvania. Join author and historian Thomas White as he explores the meaning behind the ghosts, monsters and miracles of Pennsylvania’s history. Wednesdays  12 pm Light Literary Lunch Club October 7 “A Haunted House” by Virginia Woolf Do you love literature but don’t have much time to enjoy it? Bring a lunch and join the discussion of a short story. Light refreshments are provided. Second Wednesday Meditation Group October 14  Doors open at noon, close at 12:15 pm. Sessions last 35 minutes. Get up and get moving with interactive stories, songs and rhymes.

Children and adults will actively explore books that improve

vocabulary and expand the imagination. Reading together is the

most important way for children to learn to read independently.

Presented by Yamoussa

Experience the joy of African dance! Participants will learn

dances from Guinea, West Africa while getting an excellent

workout. For dancers of all skill levels.

Saturday Silver Screen Film ClubOctober 10 ❘  DVD 120 minutes

A return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted

by his turbulent past, he believes the best way to survive is to wander

alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across

are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom
