No submissions will be accepted after this date, so please get your information in to us. You may still reserve your copy(ies) by sending your request to [email protected]. Did you know that hot water and soap do not wash away the fats, oils and grease you pour down your drain?

In fact, they solidify in your pipes, clog your sewer lines, and cause sewage backup in your home and in the neighborhood.

The result is time, trouble and expense for you, your neighbours and the Village.

The Village is asking Residents to "Store it, Don't Pour it". Residents are asked to store fats and grease in a disposable container. Used cooking oil should be cooled and put into a covered plastic bottle,

labeled and put out for garbage collection.
