Tax Assessor/Collector Update

MARVIN• Is the new modernized motor vehicle title and

registration system

• The current system was built in 1972 and is 45

years old

• Will bring us into the 21st century

• Dot matrix printers will be replaced with laser

printers

• Dot matrix forms will be eliminated, forms will be

system generated

MARVIN

• VIN searches will be statewide, not just in a specific

county

• Vehicle history will always be accessible, no more waiting

for over weekend downloads

• No more codes to remember in order to complete

transactions

• Beginning August 21st clerks will begin working in

Sandbox

• Training will wrap up in September with classes at PRC

MARVIN

• October 6th the system known as “The Legacy”

will shut down forever

• October 9th MARVIN goes live!
