th thOn 4 and 5 of March, 'SHWET-The Rise of Humanity' club of SOAC, RKU has organized an event named "SANGAM-The Festival of Smile" at Navagam, Government Primary School, near Sardhar. This was combined activity of four SOAC club - SHWET, D Dazz Dancers, Soul of Music & Kalaraw. Each club has done their respective activities there. Few members of SHWET and KALRAW went to school one day before and decorated it. The students joined the Soul of Music in Singing, danced on the steps taught by D Dazz Dancers, performed drama, prepared creative art crafts with the help of SHWET and KALRAW. Their innocence while performing the drama and their acting actually made us Smile. In these two days we developed a strong bonding with the students that they didn't want us to leave the school. These two days were full of enjoyment for the students and for us as well that they wanted us to visit the school again. The motto of SANGAM was, "to make them happy, to make them smile" and it was really a "FESTIVAL OF SMILE", for students of that school and for us too.

A POEM ON RKU BY URJA VEKARIYA

It is old news all over the world and even in India that women are doing equally responsible and challenging job like men do to earn bread and butter. Woman, working or else is still facing unique challenges, unique because all of them are not logical and somehow they are just because of inherited social taboo in all living race on this planet. Working Woman in India has very different and more challenging schedule as our society has clearly dened work for women and men. New economic equations are challenging the old denition and distribution of work and somehow the redistribution of work today is not done with fresh idea of justice. Patriarchy attitude has brought inequality in the value of work as work. Cooking, cleaning, rearing children are some of the work which are considered as woman's work in most part of the India. It is toughest test of patient, ability, energy and her managerial skills at home as well as on the job. On job or off job, both the places are like battleeld for her. In most of the

Women - "From Homemaker toManager, She can take the World”

organization common complaint you will come across is "women employees are not ready to stay back for extra work and they are always in a hurry to go back to home" but that does not mean they are not efcient and responsible towards their job. These are the common misconception prevailed in the industry everywhere. We are ignoring that, in hurry to go home all women employees are working with their fullest efciency for required output, it's just matter of being in her shoes. Despite all hurdles she is proving herself and walking hand in hand with the time, she is becoming the instrument in bringing the change in a home and in the society. Her scaries are making her stronger and bolder. She is a real hero, a 'SUPER HERO'. Her love and care for everything around her is nurturing her. God might have created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the nal masterpiece.
