PSTN Consumption enables PSTN Conferencing international dial-out and calling beyond any minute limits included in the base PSTN Calling or PSTN Conferencing subscriptions.
Office 365 and Skype for Business will use a Pre-paid Billing Model for PSTN services.
PSTN Consumption billing can be enabled on any tenant licensed for PSTN Conferencing or PSTN Calling.

• Account balance will be drawn down as services are consumed
• Customer will be able to select their EA Enrollment as a payment instrument in the Office 365 Portal.
• When a customer’s balance reaches the minimum threshold, funds are replenished and customer is invoiced
• Customer selects an initial pre-paid balance amount, minimum balance threshold, and balance replenishment amounts
• Customer funds their pre-paid balance directly in the Office 365 Portal as opposed to buying on CPS – SKU on PL
• Critical to establish replenishment amounts as all payments made to fund prepaid balance will be valid for one year
• If no pre-paid balance is established and the monthly limit is reached then PSTN services will be suspended for that month
• Consumption billing charges will appear as a line item on the EA Invoice
• Usage reports will be available in the Admin Center at any time

• Due to market fluctuation, PSTN Consumption rates are subject to change. The complete list of PSTN Consumption rates can be found in the Skype for Business
Online PSTN Service Use Terms.
• Rates for tenants provisioned in the United States are tax-inclusive. Therefore, tenants paying these rates would not pay any additional telecom-related tax fees. For
this reason, invoices produced for US tenants will list PSTN Services separately from the Office E5 services purchased. Inversely, rates for tenants provisioned outside
of the United States are tax-exclusive. Therefore, on top of PSTN rates, tenants would still be required to pay any applicable telecom-related tax fees.
• International dial-in rates are subject to change on a monthly basis and individual customer rates are not locked during the term of their agreement. Changes will be
minimized where possible to avoid disruption to customers, while ensuring rates remain competitive with local market rates and conditions. Updated rates will be
shared a month prior to the change, consistent with other pricing changes.
• Additionally, rates vary depending on the phone line used: Landline, Mobile or Special
• “Landline” calls are calls made from fixed lines connected to tangible wires, connected to the local telephone network, and grounded to a certain physical location
• “Mobile” calls are calls made from cellular lines, transmitted through radio waves, and not grounded to a certain physical location.
• “Special Numbers” are calls made from premium or private numbers with rates that fall outside the typical landline or mobile rates of the country in which they are located
