City scored two runs at last call for a 7-6 eventual win. The T-Bones returned the favor in game 2 with a
walk off win at last call. Dylan Tice broke open a 3-3 tie with a single to right to pull KC back to .500.

Pitching Matchups RHP Erik Manoah Jr. makes his second start since joining the T-Bones on June 9th. Manoah was drafted
by the New York Mets in the 13th round of the 2014 Draft out of South Dade High School in Homestead,
Florida. Manoah joins the T-Bones after pitching with the Inland Empire 66ers in 2018, a Class A Advanced
associate of the Los Angeles Angels. Manoah is also the brother of Alek Manoah, who most recently got
drafted in the first round of the 2019 draft to the Toronto Blue Jays out of West Virginia University. Manoah
spent two years with the New York Mets organization and another four with the Los Angeles Angels of
Anaheim system. In six seasons he is a career 18-34 with a 5.68 ERA in 383.2 minor league innings.
RHP Eric Karch takes the pearl for Sioux City. Karch's is in his sixth pro season and moves to the rotation
in his second year with the X’s after serving as the closer last season notching 21 saves with 61 strike outs
in 42.2 innings. The Fresno, California native has had three stints in affiliated ball one being recently when
the Minnesota Twins purchased Karch’s contract on January 11, 2019. Karch was drafted by the Pittsburgh
Pirates in the 22nd round of the 2014 MLB Draft from Pepperdine University and pitched with the Angels
organization as well in his career. He is a career 19-26 with a 3.39 ERA and 41 saves.

Roster Moves
The T-Bones signed RHP Kenny Koplove and released RHP Dustin Hurlbutt prior to the game on
Wednesday. Kenny Koplove joins the T-Bones roster after playing with both the Albuquerque Isotopes and
the Lancaster JetHawks, the Triple-A affiliate and the Advanced-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, in the
2019 season. In his time with the Isotopes, Koplove acquired a 3.00 ERA in one game and three innings
pitched. He was then moved to pitch with the JetHawks where he posted a 3.60 ERA in nine appearances.
He pitched in 15 innings with Lancaster and struck out 16 batters before he was released on June 7, 2019.
He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 17th round of the 2015 MLB Draft out of Duke University.
During his junior season at Duke, Koplove posted a 1-2 record with a 2.13 ERA in 21 games. He notched 11
saves in 25.1 innings pitched on his way to striking out 37 batters.

At the plate - Danny Mars was 11-for-27 with 8 RBI on the last road trip and has 12 RBI in 11 games with KC. Mars is reaching base at a .432 rate.
He is 15 of 47 since joining the T-Bones 11 games ago. -Christian Correa has reached base in 13 straight games and is on a six game hitting streak. -Ramsey Romano has 16 RBI in his first 18 games as a T-Bone and is 3-for-8 in the series with Sioux City. He has the only two three
run home runs for KC and had five RBI in the series with Cleburne. He went 8-for-24 on the road trip with six RBI. The third baseman also leads the club with seven multi RBI games this season. He has six games with two RBI and another with three. He went 4-for-12 in the series with Texas. -Roy Morales was 7-for-12 in the series at Cleburne with 4 RBI. He posted the first 4 RBI for the T-Bones Friday night at Texas. He
went 11-of-24 on the road trip. He has five of six games with multi-hits in the last week. -Casey Gillaspie is 2-for- 5 in the series with a pair of walks. had the first four hit night for KC Friday night. It was the first time a T-Bones had had four since Ryan Brett had four on 9/11/18 at St. Paul. -Dylan Tice has reached base in five straight games. He scored four runs Friday night the first time a T-Bone has done that in 2019
and the highest total since. In the Texas series he went 5-for-11 scoring seven runs. -Ryan Brett has seen his average climb from .148 last Friday June 7th to .238. He went 12-for-25 on the road trip. He has scored five runs in his last three games. -Daniel Nava has six RBI in his last games.
On the hill
-Jon Perrin has 19 strike outs in 19 innings pitched with two straight quality starts. -Tommy Collier and Perrin have teamed up for four of the last five starts for KC in the quality category. -Ramsey Romano has tossed four scoreless relief innings with four strike outs. -Kevin Hamann has allowed just one earned run in his last 8.2 with seven eight outs. -Nick Lee has six strike outs in his last 4.2 innings also a 4.2 innings scoreless streak. He recorded his first save as a T-Bones 4/11. -The T-Bones as a staff are now second in the league in strike outs as a team with 256. The T-Bones set the new record for strike outs in a season by a pitching staff at 897 in 2017 for the American Association.
Misc.
-The T-Bones ended a five-game series losing streak this week with the two games to one series win over Cleburne and have now won back to back series for the first time this season. A win tonight would make it three straight series wins. -The T-Bones are 8-2 against the South Division of the American Association.

McAllister Propels T-Bones to Series Victory

Cody McAllister allowed just one run over eight innings, leading the Kansas City T-Bones (18-12) to a 5-1 victory over the Schaumburg Flyers (8-21) and securing a series win Sunday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark
In front of 4,694 fans, Schaumburg didn’t move a man into scoring position through the first six innings. McAllister’s only blemish was an RBI double by Terry Mermer that scored Richard Mercado in the seventh. He exited after eight, surrendering just one run while scattering seven hits, walking one and striking out four.
Kansas City sent nine men to the plate in the first inning, seven against Flyers starter Alain Quijano (1-4), plating three runs on RBI doubles by Jacob Blackwood and Ray Sadler, and a sacrifice fly by Jim Fasano. Quijano retired just one of the seven batters he faced, surrendering three runs on four hits before giving way to the bullpen.
The T-Bones extended their lead to 5-0 with a two-run home run by Sadler in the second, and they added two more in the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Rico Washington and an RBI single by Sadler, capping the scoring at 7-1.
Erik Hamren pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the T-Bones, striking out two.
Sadler finished a triple short of the cycle, going three-for-four with four RBI. Keanon Simon reached base in four of his five plate appearances, scoring three runs while stealing two bases.

Erik Manoah Jr. was drafted by the New York Mets in the 13th round of the 2014 Draft out of South Dade High School in
Homestead, Florida. In high school, Manoah owned a 1.83 ERA and struck out 116 batters in his senior season.
Manoah joins the T-Bones after pitching with the Inland Empire 66ers in 2018, a Class A Advanced associate of the Los Angeles Angels. Manoah is also the brother of Alek Manoah, who most recently got drafted in the first round of the 2019 draft to the Toronto Blue Jays out of West Virginia University.
After being drafted by the Mets, Manoah pitched with the Mets’ rookie teams, first the GCL Mets in 2014 and then he was assigned to the Kingsport Mets during the 2015 season after acquiring a 2.63 ERA in eight games pitched with GCL. Manoah had a short stint with the Brooklyn Cyclones, a Short-Season A classification team, towards the end of the 2015 season. He was the traded to the Angels for right-handed pitcher Fernando Salas in 2016.
Manoah was then assigned to the Burlington Bees in September of 2017 and then he was promoted to the 66ers, where he spent the rest of his time. Throughout parts of two seasons with the 66ers, Manoah posted a collective 7.71 ERA In 113.2 inning pitched throughout 33 games. He was released by the Inland Empire 66ers on May 7, 2019.
