START A STREAK: The Dodgers tonight begin a six-game homestand with the first of three contests against the red-hot Philadelphia Phillies, winners of six consecutive games. Los Angeles ran its record in extra-innings to 1-1 yesterday with a 10- inning victory over the Giants that completed a seven-game road trip (3-4). Following the weekend series with the Phillies, the Giants come to Dodger Stadium for three games from May 1-3. The Dodgers stand at 11-12 in the season’s opening month with this series against Philadelphia closing out the April slate. Los Angeles is looking to avoid a losing record in April for the second consecutive season as last year’s NL West champs were 12-13. Prior to last season, the last Dodger squad to post a losing March-April record was the 2010 team (9-14). The Dodgers begin their season series with the Phillies tonight having won nine of 13 games over the past two seasons against the Fightins. THE GRADUATE: Dodger shortstop Corey Seager is showing no signs of a sophomore slump, belting his team-leading fifth home run of the year yesterday afternoon in San Francisco. Seager went 1-for-3 in the game and has posted a .318 (27-for- 85)/.398/.565 slashline with 14 runs, six doubles and 17 RBI (14 th , NL) in 23 games this year. START A STREAK: The Dodgers tonight begin a six-game

homestand with the first of three contests against the red-hot

Philadelphia Phillies, winners of six consecutive games. Los

Angeles ran its record in extra-innings to 1-1 yesterday with a 10-

inning victory over the Giants that completed a seven-game road

trip (3-4). Following the weekend series with the Phillies, the

Giants come to Dodger Stadium for three games from May 1-3.

The Dodgers stand at 11-12 in the season’s opening

month with this series against Philadelphia closing out

the April slate. Los Angeles is looking to avoid a losing

record in April for the second consecutive season as last
