Los Angeles scored eight, eight and nine to open the 1974 season against the San Diego Padres and has plated eight, nine and nine the last three contests. In addition, the last time the Dodgers scored nine runs in back-to-back games was May 6-7, 2009 vs. Washington (10, 9). SOURCE: STATS, LLC WON’T SLOW DOWN: Dodger catcher Yasmani Grandal added to his career-high home run total with his 18 th blast of the season last night, finishing the game going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a walk. Grandal has hit safely in his last nine games since July 29, going 13-for-29 (.448) with two doubles, a triple, four homers and 10 RBI.
