Our Erie Hospital Day open house is Sunday June 7th. Our drivers will again be recognized and we are planning to have several of the hospital vans transporting those who wish to attend. Please sup-port our first annual Al Koran/Tadmor competitive shoot on July 18. Raffle items for the shoot include cash, rifles, guns and a hunting trip. Raffle tickets are being sold, one for $10 and three for $20. The raffle income will go to our Erie Hospital. The 141st Imperial Shriner session is July 5th through

9th in Houston Texas. Please let us know if you plan to attend and we will work on travel, accommodations and activities. Our June Ceremonial plans include having the ladies in the club and unit orientation session, in the fez part of the ceremony and the closing steak fry party. All nobles and their guests are invited to the closing steak fry. No cost to candidates and their guest, all others $15 per person with an open bar. We are plan-ning a second ceremonial day on October 21. We will come out to any club or unit to perform cold sands ceremonials for candidates. Please just send in the petitions along with fees and we will organize the cold sands. For 2015 we have reduced our fees to $137 and this includes 2015 dues and a standard fez. A jeweled fez is an additional $60. We all know Masons who would make great nobles; lets ask them and share this won-derful fraternity with others. Our goal for new Nobles in 2015 is 50. We will achieve this goal with your help. Your Divan will host the Family picnic on June 19 and the Dine Around Club will provide desserts. Please remember our Al Koran Golf outing on Friday, August 14. We need four-somes and sponsors for tees and greens. Our Hillbilly Car Show is Satur-day, August 22. We need your help and attendance at all of our events. Please plan to join us on our bus trip to Colonial Williamsburg leaving Al Koran the morning of Thursday September 10, picking up in Youngstown and returning home Sunday, September 13. We need to know how many will be attending no later than June 30. Cost is $1,000 per couple, double occupancy or $700 single occupancy. Please call Mike Davison or me to make your reservations. Mike at: 330-608-2414 or me at 305-609-3376. We are focused on supporting the hospitals and the children we serve and

Notice is given that Al Koran Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. will hold a meeting of the Al Koran Holding Company as well as its monthly Business Meeting at the Al Koran Shrine Center on Monday, June 15th at 7:00pm. There will be a dinner at 5:30pm with reservations due by Noon on Friday before the event.

A Message from Lady SandyJune 2015 - With the present temperatures we are having I would say Summer is finally here. We know you are enjoying the nice sunny days we are having!! We are so excited about the “Potentates trip” this year as we will be going to Williamsburg, Virginia. We will leave early morning on Thursday, September, 10th, arriving in Williamsburg in the early evening. We will have Friday 11th, and Saturday the 12th, to enjoy Williamsburg and then we travel home on Sunday the 13th. We just bought a new guidebook for Williamsburg and from what we read, it will be a wonderful trip. I know we will have a great time. You and your

friends and/or family are all invited to join us. Just see or call Wayne (305-609-3376) or email him at [email protected] or call me Sandy at (561-289-1485) or [email protected] to sign up. The sooner the better as the bus will only hold 48 persons. So we really must know your intentions as soon as possible, please. If you can not reach us, please call Michael Davison at Al Koran Center to leave your reservation. You have the summer to pay for it. Final money is due on August 7,2015. $1,000.00 a couple (double) and $700.00 single. If you are single and have a friend to share a room with you, you will go as a double at quite a savings. So pack your bags and your gym shoes and lets get going. We will be stopping briefly in Youngstown to pick up any fellow travelers. Let us know what you would like on board to snack on and to drink and it will be provided. Powered vehicles will be available to rent. Please make that reservation at the time you sign up, the more we have the better price we get on these. By the way, our Bus Driver will be staying at our hotel and will be driving us to the entrance each day and back to the hotel.June 13th is going to be an exciting day for Al Koran Shrine and the NEW Nobles and their ladies. This will begin at 1:00 pm when the Nobles will be installing the new nobles and we will have a short program for their ladies as we tell them about us and what we do for the Shrine. So please help me on 13th of June and show how much fun we have as a group every month! With your help we will provide a short informational program for them. We will then be invited into the room to watch the new ladies Fez their Noble and we will then watch the scheduled program to which we have been invited with the new ladies. This affair will be Dressy Casual we will have a Steak fry in the pavilion for our new nobles and their ladies for dinner. We hope all of our Ladies will attend and help our new gals feel welcomed! On Monday, June 15th we are all invited to a presentation by the Al Koran Directors Unit. The subject will be Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. This will be in place of our regular get together after dinner. Please come with your Noble to Dinner and then to the presentation. Should be very interesting!!Briefly we would like to thank everyone for your kind words regarding my mother Elsa Weber’s death on April 27th. She was a grand Lady who reached her 98th Birthday on Easter Sunday, April 5. She will be greatly missed. Thank you.

Shriner ofthe Month

Russ Arndt is Al Koran Shriner of the month of June. Russ sets an example for the rest of us to follow. His ongoing effort and the results he helps us achieve are excep-tional. Congratulations Russ and thank you.

Eagle Shrine Club by John E. HaughtAs we go to press this beautiful May Day, most of us have received our Onions and are delivering them to all of our friends. Members are still talking about the Derby Day Party and Presidents Dance held on May 2nd and we are planning a Patriotic Program in obser-vance of Flag Day.As you know, Flag Day is observed nationwide on June 14th and our scheduled meeting is on the 18th of June. The time and location for our program will be announced by card or bulletin to each member prior to June 18, 2015. Now what could be more American than Baseball, Mom’s Apple Pie and Hotdogs? In 1975, General Motors added Chevrolet to this list, but we are adding the American Flag and plan to cel-ebrate those who have served this country’s military throughout history. We ask all who plan to attend this interesting program to call in a reservation to Norm Melchreit at 440-951-7254. Mark your calendar for June 18th, and watch for the location of our program. Please fly your flag and we will watch for you at the program.

Al Koran CandidatesFees Reductions For 2015.

Total fees to accompany petitions for 2015 are reduced to $137. This covers a Standard Fez and 2015 dues. If a candidate wants a jeweled fez the additional cost is $60 for total of $197. Nobles this is your opportunity to share Shriner membership. Please help us grow Al Koran membership.
