Circulating Lubricants

Pneumatic Tool/Rock Drill/Sawmill Lubricants have been designed to bring strong extreme pressure (EP) performance under the most demanding applications. Resistant to water wash-off, this series of lubricants protects surfaces under conditions of pneumatic percussion, which may lead to rifling damage. In addition, the product is designed to lubricate saw blades without leading to build up pitch deposits.

Multi-Use Industrial Oil is formulated as a general workshop oil to bring slide-way, hydraulic, and gear performance in a single lubricant. The product thus allows significant inventory and supply chain cost reduction, and minimizes the possibility of lubricant misapplication. Multi-Use Industrial Oils protect ways which often carry machine tools in severe environments.

Way Lube - Superior Oils are premium slide-way lubricants which are formulated to protect slide-ways which carry machine tools in severe environments including plain bearing slideways of lathes, shapers, grinders, and milling

machines. Performance attributes afforded by Way Lubes include: Antiwear/extreme pressure performance, anti-rust performance, yellow metal corrosion resistance, and anti-oxidancy.

Spindle/Needle Bearing Oils are low viscosity oils used to lubricate the bearings of commercial sewing and textile equipment where the yarn or fabric does not contact the lubricant. These oils are also recommended for high-speed spindle bearings in precision grinders and othermachine tools requiring low-viscosity oils. The product offers strong oxidation and rust resistance properties.

Heavy Duty Bearing/Circulating Lubricants are formulated to protect high-speed, no-twist rod mills such as those manufactured by Morgan Construction Company USA. Heavy Duty Bearing/Circulating Lubricants are formulated to bring outstanding rust and corrosion control in gears, shafts, bearing screws, and internal housing sections. Balanced corrosion protection is very necessary to counteract water from condensation and roll neck seal leakage.

03Aviation Engine oils

Aviation Engine Oils are single grade ashless dispersant oils specifically developed for aviation piston engines. They combine non-metallic additives with selected high viscosity index base oils to give exceptional stability, dispersancy and anti-foaming performance. These oils are offered in the most common grades, SAE 50 and SAE 60, which equates to common viscosity standards of 100 and 120 respectively. Aviation Engine Oils are produced to meet the SAE specification J-1899.

Aviation Engine Oils promote engine cleanness. The formulation is designed and was developed to help eliminate the harmful combustion chamber deposits that occur during normal operation. This is enhanced through the use of high Viscosity Index Base Oils which maintain their viscosity and help protect engine components more effectively under the high shear stresses that an engine places on lubricants. These oils are compatible with other approved aircraft piston engine oils. These oils are extremely stable in storage, providing that they have been stored and handled correctly, prolonged storage does not have any effect on their quality, properties or performance.

04Railroad Diesel Engine Oils

Railroad Diesel Engine Oils 13 TBN engine oils have outstanding high dispersancy and high alkalinity, for use in diesel engines used in railroad, power generation, oil well drilling, and marine and industrial service requiring a zinc-free oil and Generation 4 LL or Generation 5 lubricant characteristics. These oils represent the standard in oil technology for this type of service and satisfy the requirements of older as well as the newest engine technology. These Engine Oils are manufactured using the highest quality base oils and a non-chlorinated additive package that offers low engine wear and minimizes used oil disposal issues. New engine designs, aimed at reducing operating expenses, operate at higher combustion pressures and higher temperatures which require improved oxidation and viscosity control.

Railroad Diesel Engine Oil 9 TBN represents the latest advancement in zinc free railroad diesel engine oil technology. It is a unique formulation that is optimized to satisfy EPA emission requirements. The advanced technology provides superior liner scuffing protection, reduced rain wear, and reduced piston deposits. Improved thermal and oxidation stability minimizes oil degradation, reduces sludge formation. This provides longer drain intervals and improved filter life. This new oil is designed to meet the changing needs of today’s railroad diesel engines in light of progressive emission standards and the use of low sulfur and ultra low sulfur fuels. It offers reduced SAPS (sulfated ash, phosphorous and sulfur), advanced detergency and dispersancy technology and increased yellow metal anti-wear protection critical to satisfactory operation and long component life of exhaust after treatment devices such as particulate filters and oxidation catalysts.

06Greases

Elixir Synthetic Blend Calcium Sulfonate Grease This multi-purpose heavy-duty and extreme pressure Elixir grease is designed to be environmentally friendly regarding the ground water and even more especially for the navigable waterways – it just doesn’t leak out the way other greases do. It protects vital equipment better than older greases. Greater protection means longer equipment life which is good for the environment as well as the wallet. Outstanding protection for all types of bearings even under heavy loads at both high and low temperatures – especially where moisture and condensation are a problem.

Blue Hi-Temp Grease is a premium, multipurpose automotive/truck chassis and bearing lithium complex lubricant meeting the NLGI GC/LB performance target. Applicable in a variety of automotive and industrial uses requiring extreme pressure protection, oxidation, inhibition, water resistance, and anti-rust properties, including; disc brakes, wheel bearings, chassis, ball-joints, 5th wheels and others. This lithium complex is formulated with highly refined base oil and specialty additives to meet severe requirements of machinery. This grease is capable of operations from minus 40 degrees F to 350 degrees F, but with a dropping point of more than 500 F.

Pro Tac Plus Grease with Moly is a lithium complex grease fortified with molybdenum disulfide that meets Caterpillar’s most stringent “moly” performance requirements. This robust grease prevents metal-on-metal contact under very high-shock loading conditions commonly found in agricultural and construction environments.

Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease is a lithium thickened automotive and industrial grease possessing good extreme pressure, anti-wear properties, and strong anti-rust characteristics. Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease is recommended for cars, light trucks, SUV’s, motorcycles and light trailers equipped with conventional brakes, or industrial application where an NLGI #2 is requisite.

Heavy Duty Wheel Bearing Grease is a highly fibrous sodium grease formulated to provide excellent lubrication properties for open, heavy-duty bearings. Heavy Duty Wheel Bearing Grease imparts excellent resistance to displacement under high loads or centrifugal action. Not recommended for disc brakes.

Industrial Gear Oils (Mineral Oil Base) are compounded lubricants containing extreme pressure (EP), anti-wear (AW), anti-rust, antioxidant, yellow metal protection, water separation, and foam inhibition. Primary specifications which are met with these mineral gear oils include US Steel, American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA), and Cincinnati Machine. Industrial Gear Oils (Mineral Oil Base) are ashless, lead-free, low-chlorine, and thermally stable. They have good filtration properties and are extremely resistant to gear wear and scuffing.

Industrial Gear Oils (Synthetic Base) are fully synthetic oils compounded to contain extreme pressure (EP), anti-wear (AW), anti-rust, antioxidant, yellow metal protection, water separation, and foam inhibition. These Synthetic Based

gear oils are formulated with fully synthetic base stocks designed to bring higher levels of oxidation performance. Drain intervals using Industrial Gear Oils (Synthetic Base) are typically significantly longer than industrial mineral based gear oils. Primary specifications which are met with these synthetic gear oils include US Steel, American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA), and Cincinnati Machine. Industrial Gear Oils (Synthetic Base) are ashless, lead-free, low-chlorine, and thermally stable. They have good filtration properties and are extremely resistant to gear wear and scuffing. Industrial Synthetic Gear Oils contain an EP agent and chemical components to control wear, oxidation, sludge, corrosion and foaming. These products are formulated in various ISO viscosity grades, with varying high and low temperature properties depending on ambient conditions.

08MarineEngine Oils

Marine Engine Oil 16 TBN engine oils are high performance, high dispersancy engine oils for medium and high speed diesel engine oils operating on distillate and marine diesel oil (MDO) fuels. These advanced diesel lubricants are available in both SAE 30 and 40 grades to suit most marine engine viscosity requirements. As a result of a special balance of dispersant and detergent properties, these oils provide not only increased resistance to cylinder liner lacquer formation and in severe service applications but also assist in sludge and deposit removal.

Marine Engine Oil 30 TBN engine oils have good resistance to oxidation and viscosity increases over long operating periods. Relatively high alkalinity reserves in the oils provide superior protection, neutralizing strong acids resulting from elevated sulfur fuels that find access to the crank case to promote oil degradation, ring, cylinder, and bearing corrosion.

Marine Engine Oils 40 TBN are formulated to eliminate under crown deposits, reduce piston ring belt deposits, and maintain camshaft spaces and crankcase cleanliness. It contains the industry leading thermal and oxidation stability for long oil life and good oil consumption control. These oils provide outstanding lube/fuel compatibility.

Marine Engine Oils 50 TBN oils are premium, extra high performance 50 TBN engine oils designed for use in the most severe residual-fuelled medium-speed diesel applications found in marine and stationary power industries. This diesel engine oil has been specially formulated to provide outstanding residual fuel compatibility characteristics for excellent engine cleanliness, especially in crankcase, camshaft areas, ring belt and piston under crown. It provides excellent high temperature oxidation and thermal stability, low volatility, and high load carrying properties and corrosion protection. They are designed to meet the needs of engines operating on heavy fuel.

Marine Engine Oil 70 TBN engine oil is a premium crosshead cylinder oil for low-speed diesel engines normally operating at less than 350 rpm. It is recommended for applications where a premium grade cylinder lubricant is called for in use in all types of low speed crosshead diesel engines burning residual fuels with sulfur contents of up to 3.5% weight. It is a blend of highly refined, high viscosity index base oils, and additives that incorporate premium additive technology.

09Metal Working Oils

Heat Transfer/Quenching Oils are high quality metal heat treating and quenching oils, with excellent heat transfer properties. Heat Transfer/Quenching oils are specifically formulated for use in a variety of quenching, spraying, and heat treating applications where a variety of cooling rates are required. This series is recommended for use in closed liquid-phase heat transfer systems, and open systems where maximum bulk oil temperatures do not exceed 380 degrees F.

Rust Prevention Fluids are for use in applications requiring a robust and effective level of protection that may be applied by brush, roller, dip or spray. This fluid will prevent corrosion and yellow stain on sheet metal and will prevent the formation of white rust on galvanized steel. Evaporation of the solvent provides a protective oily film on the metal. When the solvent evaporates, a thin, transparent, oily film remains for rust prevention.

Rolling Oils – General Purpose are multipurpose rolling oils formulated from premium base stocks and using quality additives which are non-staining. These rolling oils provide wear, rust, and oxidation protection, and contain lubricity agents to improve the metal finish. Rolling Oils – General Purpose are recommended for use in a variety of rolling applications for nonferrous materials, such as aluminum, copper, brass, and other copper alloys.

Soluble Oil 294 is a water-soluble metal cutting oil containing rust and foam inhibitors and an emulsifier that

effectively stabilized the fluid in soft and hard water. Soluble Oil 294 is recommended for use in cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals, in boring milling, and turning operations. It is designed for machine ability of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals with ratings of 50 - 100. The formulation contains no nitrite or phenol and is safe to use in high speed cutting operations.

Cutting Oils are premium cutting oils formulated with high quality mineral oils and additives. They are designed to aid the cutting, grinding, or forming of metal and to provide good finish and work piece quality while extending the life of the machine tools. Medium Cutting Oil 304 is high quality general-purpose oil formulated to provide extreme pressure (EP) properties and friction modification for a variety of metals. They are not corrosive to aluminum or yellow metals such as copper or bronze, and nonstaining to the metal being worked. Heavy Cutting Oil 310 is designed for heavy duty, extreme pressure conditions where an active sulfur agent is desired.

10Refrigerator/Compressor Oils

Refrigerator/Compressor Oils (Mineral) are recommended for use in industrial refrigeration compressors operating on ammonia, propane, and many Freon (CFC)-type refrigerants. Refrigerator/Compressor Oils (Mineral) are not suitable for use with HFC refrigerants. These Refrigerator/Compressor Oils are formulated to provide outstanding oxidation and rust inhibition, and to minimize any tendency for foaming. Refrigerator/Compressor Oils (Mineral) are suitable for use with R-12, R-22, R-502 (CFC/HCFC) refrigerants and ammonia. Refrigerator Compressor Oils (Mineral) are formulated with highly refined naphthenic base oils to ensure excellent fluidity properties.These oils offer the following features:• Low pour points and Freon floc points that prevent low

temperature fluidity loss.• Excellent oxidation stability which reduces oil thickening

and deposit formation.• Excellent lubricity which guards against wear of

compressor parts.• Outstanding viscosity/temperature characteristics.• Excellent thermal stability minimizes formation of gum,

varnish, and sludge.

Refrigerator/Compressor Oils (Synthetic) are high quality full-synthetic lubricants formulated to meet the most severe requirements of rotary vane, rotary screw and reciprocating compressors. The technology used in Synthetic Refrigerator/Compressor Oils has had several years of field experience in many applications.These oils offer the following features:• Extended oil change intervals, reducing servicing costs

to a minimum• Reduced air separator blocking and extended

maintenance intervals.• Excellent compatibility with seals, paints, and the air line

Water/Glycol Fire Resistant Fluid is a fully formulated water/glycol hydraulic fluid which contains a special anti-wear package and other additives to prevent ferrous and non-ferrous metal corrosion. It will also provide vapor phase corrosion protection and reserve alkalinity. This is a premium water/glycol type of fire-resistant fluid designed to provide optimum performance in hydraulic systems. Water/Glycol Fire Resistant Fluid is formulated to provide excellent service over a wide range of operating conditions. In addition to its excellent fire-resistant properties, this fluid contains additive chemistry which imparts antiwear properties, lubricity, corrosion protection, form inhibition, and overall performance demanded by today’s high-performance hydraulic systems. This achieved through a diethylene-glycol based water mixture. Water/Glycol Fire Resistant Fluid is suitable for use in most hydraulic applications and where the following are called for or referenced:• Factory Mutual• US Steel 171• Vickers 104C Vane Pump Test, ASTM D 2882, result <50

mg total wear.• Four Ball Wear, ASTM D 2266, < 0.7 mm.

Transformer Oil is an insulating oil of very high dielectric strength, suited for transformers in both large sub-stations and small pole mounted transformers. It is also suited for circuit breakers, switches and other oil immersed electrical equipment. Transformer Oil is suitable for applications where the following are called for or referenced:• ASTM D 3487 type II (oxidation inhibited oils)• Westinghouse PDS 55822AG• Does not contain PCB’s

Form Oil is a multipurpose mold release oil primarily used to ease the release of concrete mold materials. This oil contains special mold release agents to enhance the separation, release, and clean up of metal, wood, plastics or other types of forms. Form Oil is a low viscosity formulation which is colorless, odorless, and may be sprayed without dilution. The benefits include the following: excellent release characteristics from the poured material; reduces buildup on forms; is non-staining; and is easy to apply in all types of weather temperatures.

Ultra All-Trac 245 is a new and much improved universal tractor fluid that has worldwide credentials. It is designed for use in all kinds of farm equipment, off highway machinery, industrial tractors, final drives, power take-off units, wet brakes, power steering units and hydraulic systems. This multifunctional tractor hydraulic fluid is the one single fluid that may be used to lubricate all conventional points on an agricultural or industrial tractor as well as in any vehicle that has a common sump. New and state-of-the-art chemistry combined with high quality base stocks and extremely shear-stabile viscosity modifiers offer a performance level that agriculture and industrial users have not seen before. Two-Cycle Engine Oils are designed for every 2-cycle engine application and for every budget. They may be used in either pre-mix or mix-on-demand VRO oil delivery systems. Two-Cycle engine oils deliver excellent service up to a 100:1 fuel-to-oil ratio for individual engines. These oils may also be used where SAE 30 or 40 oils are recommended. Always consult the owner’s manual for the recommended engine oil type and for the specific fuel-to-oil mix ratios.
